YUMI POV;

Isaac alerted everyone of his sibling moving in, The reasoning was 'they didn't have anywhere to stay', Like I was gonna buy that. I was never one for random people moving in with me and my friends, sibling or not.

"Yumi?" Isaac waved his hand in front of the my face. My eyes turned to him.

I shook my head slightly, "Huh?" I asked, wondering what was happening before I got so lost in thought.

The taller smiled, "Someone got lost in thought." He chuckled, I rolled my eyes in response, Dickhead. "We're going to pick up ____ from the airport." Isaac explained, walking to the garage to get his car.

"Is Tanner coming?" I spoke, just blurting out a random friend's name, why did I do that.

Isaac cocked a brow, "Why would Tanner be coming? It's just gonna be me and you in the car." He replied opening the passenger seat door for Me, What a gentleman.

I sat in the passenger seat and looked out the window, watching the scenery change as we drove past. Austin could be really pretty sometimes and I liked that.

"Earth to Yumi?" Isaac got my attention yet again. I look at him, feeling bad for not listening to whatever he was saying. "We need to go to gate D, their flight will be here soon." He smiled, grabbing my hand and dragging me to gate D. He pulled my arm really hard, it hurt a little.

We were stood at gate D when the flight pulled in.

READER POV;

I woke up when the plane was beginning to land, and I rubbed my eyes, tired although I had been asleep most of the flight. It was a relatively short flight from Pennsylvania to Texas, if you went fast enough that is.

A random man helped me get my bag and I thanked him, throwing it over one of my shoulders.

Isaac and whoever else would be waiting past the luggage collection point, so I could hopefully take my time getting my stuff without worrying them.

I hope Yumi is there, I smile, thinking to myself, Isaac says he's mean sometimes, I wonder if he actually is.

My thoughts were interrupted when I saw my suitcase coming towards me, I grabbed it and extended the handle, dragging it behind me as I leave the collection point to go find Isaac.

My eyes travel around the room, searching for someone wearing glasses and a mask, I knew he was a faceless content creator, so he would be wearing glasses and a mask. I land on someones phone, they were holding their phone up sideways, my name in some shitty handwriting on the notes app. I look slightly more down and spot someone who fits Isaac's description perfectly.

I attempt to run, but I remember my suitcase is heavy, so I choose to speed walk over to them.

YUMI POV;

They're pretty. What am I thinking? Stop thinking that. I shake my head, opting to look over at Isaac, who was gone?

I look over to ____ and I see that Isaac is hugging them. I watch Isaac put them down, coming to stand next to me. He throws his arm over my shoulder.

"This is Yumi, the mean one." He introduces me. I wave, accidentally making eye contact with them, that was creepy. I turn my head away, feeling my face heating up. Yumi control yourself, you're acting like a weirdo, they're gonna think you're weird, stop acting weird.

READER POV;

Hes cute, I thought, watching him turn his head away and blush lightly. I should ask Isaac if Yumi is single, no I shouldn't, that's my brother's friend, it'd be weird, they'd both think you're weird.

I follow Isaac to the car, listening to Yumi whisper something to Isaac, getting a chuckle in response, I hear Isaac's voice once more, "____, Yumi thinks you're cool." I look over at Yumi, he was blushing again, and attempting to look calm, but I could tell he wasn't.

I found myself whispering back to Isaac, asking him to tell Yumi I thought he was cool too, Isaac turns his head to Yumi, and I hear him whispering to Yumi.

My eyes snuck a glance at Yumi, he was going pink with blush, it was cute.

Once we reached the car, Isaac said he had to 'pick someone else up' and told me and Yumi to sit in the back together.

Isaac drives to another house, it doesn't seem to be the house we're supposed to be going inside of, as Isaac is the only one who gets out of the car, going to go fetch someone it seems.

"Hi." He says, sparking a conversation it seems, I'm surprised he did, considering how nervous he looked in the airport.

I smile, "Hey." I turn my head to him, to find him looking at me already.

Yumi smiles back, turning his head to see if Isaac is coming back to cut the tension, it was so thick that he probably couldn't even cut it if he tried.

He turns back to me, putting his hand on the middle seat, I inch my hand towards his, eventually placing it on top of his.

I see a light blush pepper his cheeks again, and my heart starts pounding. I glance out the window, checking for Isaac again. I lock eyes with him, slightly moving forward, as does he.

I blink and my lips are on his, our fingers intertwined on the seat. We pull back for air, out of breath, I smile widely, looking at him.

He looks at me smiling again, we hear a car door open a minute or so later, and we turn back to the seats in front of us, leaving our hands holding in the middle. I watch as Larry, I think, sits in the passenger, waving to the people outside of the house, who I don't know.

Me and Yumi sat quietly giggling in the backseats, getting suspicious looks from Larry.

We reach the house and I drag my suitcase in one hand, my bag on my back and one hand held in Yumi's, we break apart before anyone can see.

Isaac takes my things up to my room, and I lie on the beanbag I spotted when I walked in. Yumi made conversation with his friends, and I drift off to sleep.
