"Ginger I'm aware that you've been occuiped frankly all afternoon..mind you having quite the sentimental evening with your friends but when you see my name pop up on your phone, you answer it. Come home. Immediately.'"

Ginger had open ears and eyes hearing that be the last voicemail from her boyfriend. As she was occupied having a wonderful day at their local mystic grill and mall she had yet to realize her boyfriend wanted her home an hour ago. She unlocked the bathroom stall and stumbled out washing her hands before making it back to the bar where her twin best friends were. Kelly and Belly.

"What happened to you?" They both asked when seeing the clear flash of worry on her face.

"Nuts. I checked my phone and guess who? Junior sending me this very friendly voicemail telling me to come home so I have to leave." She told them.

The twins both groaned in disapproval.

"I'm sorry guys! I don't know what I did this time. I tried to think but nothing's coming to mind."

She took a seat in the middle of the two and asked the bar attendant for a drink of pineapple juice.

"Well maybe....just maybe he got you a late Christmas present?" Belly assumed giggling.

"Ha-ha funny." Ginger said straight faced. "You didn't even try."

"Maybe he's suprising you with his..let's see. Love. Mm plus you have been gone like the entire day..." Kelly added.

That didn't help either.

"Ah is that right....Guys! Hello? I can tell he's not happy by his damn voice!" Ginger said slumping down on the table.

She sat up a minute later and ran her hand through her hair.

"Also I hate Christmas, I hate love, and everything is shit." Ginger grumbled taking her drink of pineapple juice.

"I reallly hope you're not drunk." Belly muttered under her breath, side eyeing Kelly.

"I am not drunk!" She spoke in defense.

Kelly shrugged. "I'd say fuck the message and live your best life for the last few hours of this party. Whatever he wants is not more important than this right here. We aren't at the party, we are the party! This is all what it was for. You stayed out of trouble for too long."

Belly cut her off. "No! That's the worst idea. You know how her snarky little boyfriend acts when she pulls this shit."

The twins pass each other unserious looks.

Kelly rolls her eyes taking a shot of tequila. "Okay fine. Belly since you know everything... Whatever you say Ginger does! Since you are the decider." Kelly said mockingly.

"Yeah, that's because I know Belly is not sadistic and doesn't want me to combust in a fire of cringy death." Ginger said rolling her eyes. "I'm outta of here."

Ginger asked the bartender for one more small cup of juice and gulps it down before they pay and decide to head out. They all get inside Belly's car ready to drive back.

Ginger checks her phone and glances at the few missed calls from Junior in her call log thirty minutes ago. She curses to herself and picks up the phone holding it up to her ear. The call instantly accepts.

There's plain silence for a sharp ten seconds.

"What." Ginger snaps annoyed by his lack of speech.

"Don't what me you know what." Junior voiced from the cellphone.

"The six missed calls? Sorry, my phones dead." She responded giving an evil eye to the twins who wouldn't quit giving her smugly looks.

"Where are you. I need you home now."
