The soft morning light filters through the curtains, bathing the room in a warm glow. My head throbs, and as I slowly open my eyes, a wave of disorientation washes over me.

Where am I?

The room comes into focus, and it takes me a moment to realise that I'm not in my own bed. Panic sets in briefly before the memories of the night before flood back – the stumbling down the hallway, Sirius's concerned gaze, and admitting that I liked him. Well, I already told him that, but admitting it drunk at two am made it seem more real.

With a groan, I sit up, clutching my head in my hands. The dull ache is accompanied by a distinct queasiness in my stomach. I survey the room, spotting a thin blanket haphazardly draped over the sofa. It looks like someone slept in it, but Sirius is nowhere in sight. Guilt floods my senses as I recall how he tucked me in after my less-than-graceful appearance at his door.

Instinctively, I glance down and discover that I'm no longer wearing my clothes. Instead, I'm draped in an oversized t-shirt. Well, oversized on me.

"Ew," I silently mouth as I take in the motif adorning the front. Another thought enters my mind; Sirius has seen me without a bra. He must have removed my clothes and put on the t-shirt. I blush at the thought and quickly pull the duvet over my head. Perhaps I should just hide forever.

The faint sound of a faucet being turned off reaches my ears, and a few seconds later, the door opposite the bed opens.

"Morning," Sirius mumbles.

Slowly, I lower the duvet and come face to face with a towel-clad Sirius, water still dripping from his hair. I realise I'm staring and swallow. "I'm sorry about last night."

He offers a half-smile. "No need to apologise. How are you feeling?"

"Like I got hit by a Bludger," I admit, managing a weak smile. "Thanks for taking care of me. I must have been a handful."

Sirius chuckles and picks up his clothes from a chair. "You were definitely something. But it's all good. I've seen worse."

I cup my face with my hands. "Well, this is officially the most embarrassing morning of my life."

"I once woke up butt naked in front of Dumbledore's office," Sirius says reassuringly, earning a soft smile. He enters the bathroom again, but doesn't close the door. I catch a glimpse of the upper half of his reflection in the mirror as he gets dressed. "Do you want to get breakfast?"

I interpret it as code for, 'do you want to talk about yesterday?', and slowly nod.

When Sirius re-enters the room, I'm standing up, looking around for my clothes, only to find them neatly placed on a chair. "Do you have a shirt I can borrow?" I ask him.

"What's wrong with the one you're wearing?" Sirius raises an eyebrow.

I look down at myself with disgust on my face. "I'm not wearing this in public. It's a Gee Bees t-shirt."

Sirius laughs, "You're a music snob!" He pulls off the t-shirt he is wearing and hands it to me, waiting for me to switch.

"Yeah, I'm not letting you wear it either."

The pub area buzzes with people, but we manage to secure an empty table in the middle of the room, drawing glances and whispers from a group of Hogwarts students nearby.

"Just ignore them," Sirius whispers, his attention fixed on the menu.

"That's easy for you to say," I snort. "You're not the one looking like you're doing the walk of shame."
