It's a beautiful day at Y/N town, her siblings where getting everything ready for their parents anniversary, a party to which all the town was invited. While everyone were like crazy Y/N was watching everything as if she was an outsider unable to participate.
Author: No one knows what is going inside Y/N head she is a quiet but intelligent girl. She lived abroad for 10 yrs with her parents while her siblings stayed back in Guatemala. Once back her sibling noticed she acted indifferent but thought it was part of her settling process so they least her alone.
Once night came you could appreciate a big group of people dancing to the group who the family hired to play, others were just chatting, eating and drinking having a good time. However; one neighbor (Delmar) noticed Y/N standing in a corner by herself so he decided to approach her to keep her company plus he was intrigue by her behavior.
Delmar: Hi there, why are u standing by yourself instead of joining the group. What did u left a boyfriend in the US and miss him or are do u think so high up yourself that you refuse to mingle with us?
Y/N: (Smiling softly) haha never i missed my town and this peaceful feeling and to answer your question no, i don't have a BF nor will I. I prefer to stand here and appreciate everyone enjoying themselves.
Delmar: then would u mind if I stay and keep you company, to tell u the truth i wanna learn more about you? What do u say ?
Y/N: Your a guess to our party how can i send you away. But if you stay you must accompany drinking
Note: Y/N is not a drinker but she gets uncomfortable around people and alcohol helps her.
3 HRS Later...
Hey have you seen Y/N said Anna (y/n sister 32yrs old)
No, she must be catching up with her elementary classmates, why do u need her said Adrian (y/n older brother 35yrs old)
Anna: Ooh the thing is is almost time for to cut the cake and i want all the family together for a pic
Adrian: don't bother her we can alway take a pic together tomorrow, let her enjoy today
...
Delmar: so tell me why do u prefer to stay here instead to talk to ur old classmates?
Y/N: I prefer not to, don't take me wrong they are nice souls but their mentality are different and I'm afraid the only thing i need is to clear my head
Delmar: talk to me, for today I'll be your confident plus after all these drinks i don't think I'll remember tomorrow
Y/N: well then get comfortable and get more margaritas coming.
Author: after hearing y/n's words Delmar got curious and ordered his guard to keep coming the drinks and to make sure no one will interrupt them. Have in mind they are sitting in a corner where darkness was a curtain covering them plus music was so loud that the closes table could not hear them.
