I am counting down to Christmas
I don't even know why
Maybe it's because of the cookies
Or because everything will be beautifully decorated

I am counting down the days
Aware that they will come and go quickly
Maybe it's because of the Christmas movies
Maybe I will be happier watching them

I am counting down the minutes
I am counting down the seconds
Waiting for the day that will be like any other
Hoping that it will be more special
