If only I could go to the North Pole
Maybe the polar wind would blow away my sadness
If nothing else, to see penguins
Maybe I can learn something from themThey waddle slowly in the winter
Nothing worries them
Their faces never look sad
Even though the weather is quite badMaybe somewhere there I'll meet Santa Claus
Maybe the winter path will lead me to him
And I know he's not a golden fish
But maybe he'll grant me a wishOr at least give me some advice
On how to be happy when it's hard
When nothing goes according to plan
How to endure, how to smile
