You panted as you ran across your friend's back yard. You were playing tag with said friend, Arthur Kirkland. You had to admit, he was fast. But, no matter what, he was not beating you. You'd rather eat a worm, which you have done before because your friend, Alfred, said he'd give you a dollar. Picking up your pace little by little, you managed to get right behind your british buddy. Grinning, you pounced on him, tackling him to the ground.
"(y/n)! That's cheating!" Arthur whined, rubbing his head.
"No, it's called tactic! Alfie taught me." You said with a victorious grin. "Aaaaand, it's more fun that way!"
He chuckled and said "Oh, I just remembered something! Stay here and I'll be right back" He dashed into his house and came back few minutes later with a large book in his hands.
"Check it out! It's my favorite book!" He laid down on the grass and gestured you to do the same.
Scootching closer to Arthur you chimed "Well then read it!" You were both in 1st grade but he was better at reading.
"Really? Okay. Once upon a time...."
~~Le time skip of faith and destiny~~
It was the best story you've ever heard in all your six years. It was about a young princess who dreamed of adventure. She'd wander into the woods seeking out monsters or someone to help. One day she stumbled across some rather odd creatures.
A pixie, a unicorn, a leprechaun, and a flying mint bunny. They told her that how they were in great peril, running a away from a ferocious dragon. The princess vowed to bring down the monster and free them from it's grasp. The creatures gave her enchanted armor that'd give her strength and a sword that'd burn her enemies.
She set off on a pale horse to the cave where he rested. The princess struck it instantly. The monster gobbled her up whole. But then, the princess managed to slice her way out of the dragon, killing it.
The creatures were so pleased they gave her immortality and she was able to rule her kingdom eternally.
"And they lived happily ever after, the end."Arthur stated as he closed the book.
"Wow, that was a great story Artie"You said yawing
"Really? I *yawn* really love it"
You snuggled closer to Artie and before you knew it, you were both fast asleep, dreaming of magical creatures and ruling a kingdom together.
~Extended ending~
Francis, Arthur's older brother looked at the two of you.
"Awww. They are just so cute!" He cooed as he took a picture. Something he might use for blackmail in the future....
