Paying Jealousy

Diavolo stop me by saying "leaving so soon?" His voice had a bit of sadness. "My next class is in the next 5 minutes" I responded while showing him the hour in my d.d.d. He was surprise as he said "Time does go really fast when you are having fun, huh?" I smiled and nodded at his claim. As I left his office I encounter Lucifer, I lowered a bit my head to great him and continued my path, once in class I sit next to Solomon like last time.

Lucifer's pov

Annoyance and surprise I felt rising the moment I saw May get out of Diavolo's office, but all that disappeared the moment she lowered her head to greet me. Then I felt pride, this human knows her place under me.

Entering Diavolo's office he had a longing look that made stop in my tracks but the moment he saw me it all disappeared. His usual smile greeted me as I enter. "Was that May?" I asked with the true intention to know what she was doing here."She was keeping me company?" Usual clever Diavolo, saw my intention from a mile away. I nodded and proceeded to talk business.

May's pov

Once class finished, I saw Mammon waiting for me in the entrance which I found weird. "hey" I greeted but he just stood quiet and started walking with me. Like i said, weird. "You good?" When I asked he just scoffed at me, but not even a minute later he started insulting me because apparently it was my fault he got scold for not doing his job. He rambled insults and complains all the way until we got the house of lamentation. "Mammon, do you have my grim?" Leviathan interrupted, thankfully, Mammon long ass ramble, which I was ignoring. "I told ya that I don't have it yet." Mammon respond annoyed and this angered Leviathan. "Its been 300 years!!" Leviathan exclaimed, making my eyes widen. " 400 years, said it right will ya" Mammon corrected and this angered Leviathan even more for he started insulting Mammon. Calling him a scum and more. I felt bad and patted Mammon's back and he just hiss at me. I rolled my eyes and before i knew it he disappeared. "Your such an idiot!" Leviathan told me and I just raised my brow at him "You let him escape!" He exclaimed and i just sigh, already draining from their constant insults. "how much?" I ask he just looks confused. "how much does he owes you?" he look surprised but told me. I take out my wallet and pay him and before he could say another word I left to my room. I had the grim from taking a bit out from Lucifer's black card, better be ready for anything. Unfortunately, thats was all the grim i had so now I need a job, g r e a t.

Once in my room, I take a bath and do my skincare then I i grab some comfy clothes and put them on. I lay on my bed and close my eyes, letting the voices fill the silence, like Azrael though me.

*Knock*Knock*Knock*

I open eyes at the sound and a voice whispers, Lucifer. "Come in" I said and and the door immediately opened. As the voice said it was Lucifer. "Dinner is ready, come down" He said in a demanding voice. I nodded and start going down with him. "So, you payed Mammon's debt with Leviathan?" He said as we go down the stairs and I simply nod my head. "with whose grim?" He asked and I calmly explain that I took it from his black card in case of emergencies. He nodded and we sit in the table. As yesterday, I sit next to Asmo and we talk like usual. "Do you know anywhere they are hiring?" I ask him but before he could respond Lucifer interfere. "why are you asking?" He said "I want to gain my own grim to save?" I simply responded. "You have an allowance." He retorted. "with grim I didn't work for" I said back and he looked weirdly please. "If she don't want it, can I have it?" Mammon asked and I chuckle, but Lucifer didn't see any humor on the matter so he just glared at Mammon, but Mammon was too busy staring at me. "What are ya laughing at Human???!" He said trying to sound annoyed. "just a silly thought" I said and he just scoffs at me.

Once i finished with dinner I go to my room and quickly do my homework. Then I lay in my room, just chilling with demons in my head until someone opens the door unannounced. "Who the fuck do ya think ya r?" I immediately recognize Mammon's voice and I just smile surprised. "hello to you too" I greeted and he just ignores it. "Answer" He demanded and I just raised my eyebrow. "Did you want me to be by your side just because you paid Levi??" That cleared my confusion but definitely brought new questions. "why do you even care if i paid him or not your own debt?" I ask softly while looking for my cigars." Because I know ya plotting some shit" He said as i light the cigar i found. "Im not plotting" I said and then took a hit " Bullshit" He retorted and i just roll my eyes "if I were plotting, why would I even pay Leviathan when i could use your debt to my advantage" I said and he just stares at my wary "what do ya want? No one is that good?" i take a hint and blow it smiling, his smarter than his brothers give him credit for "I dont want you babysitting me, I can take care of myself" I said even though he wasn't already doing his job but with Lucifer now in his ass that might change. "... that all??" He asked and I nodded "but what about Lucifer?" See, smart asshole "Your smarter than I thought" I praised and he blushed a bit "o-of course I am, I'm the great Mammon" He stuttered a bit, which I found cute. "Thats will be easy, just make a pact with me" i said but...
