Diavolo's POV

I feel upset and uncomfortable for a reason i
I can't explain. I keep trying to do my work as usual yet I don't have the motivation that I used to have these last days. How truly peculiar. I sigh tiredly as I found myself alone yet again in the office after Barbatos left, 10 minutes ago. I drop my pen, giving up on the idea of doing more work and take a break. I close my eyes and lean on the chair until someone knocks on the door. "Come in" I said and I hear a giggle that makes me open my eyes. "Dia~" May sings and I immediately smile. "May" I call back and she smiled even more excitedly "I have something for you" she then said and I raised an eyebrow at her "my birthday isn't in 3 days tho" I said smiling "wait what-" she said as her face falls and so does my smile "your birthday is in 3 days and you didn't tell me????!!!" She exclaimed "I thought you knew, I mean you are invited" I said as I tilt my head curiously "dude, I literally just found the way to make it up to you and now you tell me your birthday is in 3 days??!! What am I going to gift you??!!" She said as she looks for the invitation in her d.d.d and I just smile at her panic "you don't need to gift me anything" I said trying to calm her down but she just gasp and grabs my shoulders and shakes me, surprising me. "That's ilegal" she said as she shakes me and laughs "I'm pretty sure I make the laws here" I said joyfully "well not anymore, I'm getting you a great fucking gift" she said as if I wasn't the heir of this realm. I laugh and nod at her which pleased her. "Anyways, here you go." She said while giving me a pretty thick file. She looked excited as I open it. My eyes widen with surprised as I realized what was the contents, I formation of politicians, governmental system, the structures of societies of the earth realm. I look at her and she smiled softly. "I hope this can make up for my bitchy attitude" she said a bit nervous but I just grab her and her hug her tight as my heart races. "...this is perfect" I whisper and she hugs me back.

Mammon POV

      It's been almost a full hour since school ended but she's still not home. I called her three times and still doesn't pick up. I call her again as my anxiety increases with each moment she doesn't answer a. "Hey, you ok?" She said, finally answering. "Me? Ya are the one not picking up. Where in the Devildom are ya??!" I asked annoyed "sorry, I had my phone off. I'm in Divolo's office." She explained quickly but I was still annoyed "when are ya coming back?" I ask "I'll go now" she started but I interrupted "I'll pick you up so wait and don't move" May seemed a bit surprised but didn't protest. When I get there I didn't see her and felt a bit disheartened by it. I sigh disappointed before I felt someone jump on my back. I flinched and was ready to break the fuckers head until she giggles: "hey mamm's, did I scared you?" She teased as I relaxed and hold her tights. "N-No, the great Mammon doesn't get scared" I lied through my teeth but she just laughed and hugged my neck. "Sureeee" she teased and I rolled my eyes at her. "Let's go home" she said softly making my heart skip a beat. Home? She considers my home hers too? "Mamm's you ok?" She asked concerned "did I hurt you?" She asked more concerned and anxious. "Y-you can't possibly harm the great Mammon" I stuttered and I mentally kicked myself for it. She tried to get off but I just tighten my hold. "I said im good, human" I protest "back to the human thing?" She asked, back to her usual self. I turned away before she could see my smile. "I'll call you demon then" she said while resting her head on the crook of my neck. "Do as you pleased" I huffed trying to sound pissed off when inside I just felt warm but I would rather die than to ever tell her that.

May's POV

Mammon carried me the whole way to the house of lamentation and I was a bit surprised by how strong he actually he is. I kinda of wanted to feel him up, no idea why tho. I hugged his neck to keep my hands busy. "You know Mamm's you're really strong" I said out of nowhere. "Wha- I mean of course I am" he said as his ears turned red with embarrassment. "I'm impressed" I said teasingly "w-well you should be!" He said embarrassed and I just laughed at his expression. "Hey! What ya laughing at?!" He asked "you're just so cute" I teased and he just stammered.

   Once we arrived to the house of lamentation, Mammon carried me to my bed and we watched movies as usual. I couldn't fall asleep though, the voices were extra today plus i didn't want to stop hearing Mammon. After the fourth movie Mammon was knocked out. I snort amused and paused the movie and then the Tv off. I tucked Mammon in and cuddled up next to him. I softly played with his hair as sleep didn't want to visit me. I kept playing with his hair until I just couldn't keep my eyes open.

 
      "It's been a while" A familiar voiced tells me as my subconscious takes my soul somewhere. "Belphie" I said once I got used to my surroundings. "I literally visit you every time I sleep" I said playfully. "And?" He asked unamused. I just smiled and sit next to him. I then told him about my day and about his brothers as I usually do. "I have no idea what the hell should I summon" I complained after I told him about my assignment. "Who cares? just summon a common guardian" he said "but which one, their hundreds of them" I huffed while laying down next to him "go to the library and look then" he said annoyed. He gets annoyed so easily, honestly he might give Lucifer a run for his money. "Not helpful" I huffed "I don't care" he said while turning away. "Why are you turning?" I asked curiously "cause I'm tired and you won't shut up" he said annoyed "geez, who piss on your foot?" I asked getting annoyed. "You did" he said looking at me with an anger and it surprised me. I stepped back understanding he wasn't playing. "I'll go" I said a bit dejected. I left and just started exploring the house. It was a huge puzzle by the many layers it has and I have barely scratched the surface. I kept walking around but I still felt dejected at how Belphegor treated me... well maybe I just pushed his boundaries. I sigh and just interacted with the spirits here, they are surprisingly nice. "May" a soft voice called and I just smiled knowing who it was. "Lils, so good to see you"....
