"uhhhh, no?" He said confused "the reason why your failing is because to you it's fucking boring, it has no meaning, no value but your brain stores it either way. If we give value to the classes you will be passing your classes with flying colors." I explained as I walked around my room excitedly. Mammon just looked at me weirdly. "Look, what I'm saying is that I know how to help you pass your classes." I concluded "ya do?" He asked with so much hope. I nod smiling, he smiled back. "So your saying my brothers will finally accept me?" He asked me so hopeful. That shouldn't be even be a question but the fact it is really bothers me. "Mammon, I'll be real with you; your brothers should love you and accept you even if you were actually a moron." I said, trying to be as gentle as I could. "So that's a no?" He asked again and his sad eyes should be in legal. "That's a maybe" I said defeated by his eyes and when they light up again at the prospect of finally fitting it fucks me up. "Wanna watch a movie?" I ask trying to change the topic. He agrees and we start watching legally blonde.

Without us even noticing we end up cuddling the whole night so when I was awaken by a scream and kick on my ribs. I groan and scream "Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you?!" We look at each other and he starts stuttering and apologizing. I on the other hand start laughing. He looks at me flabbergasted and then starts laughing with me.

We go down together to get breakfast and the brothers just ignored us. I'm a bit surprised but I am definitely not complaining. We all ate in silence and it was really awkward. So I eat my breakfast a bit faster than usual and head to school.

Mammon's POV

Breakfast is never quiet, neither the other meals. It a bit frightening but also nice because my brothers aren't criticizing every move I make. I was so lost in the silence and peace that I didn't even notice May leaving. I look up, searching for her but her sit was empty and it made my heart ache and I had no idea why. Seeing she left I stand and head out. Why did she leave me alone? I asked myself as my chest tightened, confusing me even further.

May's POV

As I walk to school, someone called my name. I stoped and look back. Asmo, waved a me with a guilty smile. "Hey, beautiful stranger" I said trying to ease him. "You mean gorgeous" He said with relief. "...I miss you" He added and it surprised me, but after a minute of silence I sigh defeated and I saw his heart break a little and immediately hugged him. He flinched but after a moment of hesitation he hugs me back. "I can't be mad at you long and it sucks" I muttered and he giggled and hold me tighter. "Let's never fight again" He said softly "Technically we weren't fighting per say" I corrected teasingly "Either way, let's never do that again" he said laughing "You know even if we fight, which will be inevitable, let's just promise to always make up" I said as I let go and he smiled "it's a promise then" He said excitedly. I raised my pink finger "pinky promise?" I ask playfully. Asmo then intertwine our pinkies "Pinky promise" He answered just as playful.

After a heartfelt conversation, we go to school together. Once we arrived, we said our goodbyes and head to our classrooms. I sit on my usual spot and surprisingly enough so did Solomon. We didn't speak but yet again we never do, well usually. Class went on being boring, again, as usual. "May~" A voice whispers reminding of their existence. I'm so used to this whispers to the point that only when they call my name or scream bloody murder I will acknowledge their presence. "Let's play a game" the voice said excitedly. I then write 'No' and they whine "pretty pleaseeee~" It sounded like a little girl but I know better 'go away' I write and they giggled "not until you play with me" they responded maliciously so I erased my latter words and start drawing a baneful spell. Sure, I could easily just cast them away with a flick of a finger but I have attracted enough attention and I don't want to risk it. "Your not getting rid of May~" The little girl's voice turn deeper but I was still unamused. This happens more often than not, so when I'm done drawing the spell and as I was going to swiftly make a small wound on my thumb the spirit started getting aggressive so I ended up drawing more blood that I wanted, but on the bright said the spirit did disappear. "You like blood magic, don't you?" Solomon asks amused as the blood starts to cover my palm. I rub my injured thump with my index finger and it Immediately heals. "Cool, trick" He said trying to strike conversation but I don't reply. "Are you still angry about what happened?" He added curiously. I sigh but still don't reply. " I'll take your silence as a yes" He answered for me which did strike a tiny nerve. " why won't you take it as a 'fuck off?" I ask being petty"Ah, there we go, you finally spoke" He said, ignoring my words. I just scoff at how he won't listen to me. Then I look at my bloodied palm and feel a bit bitter because of can't bottle the blood for later or this guy will never leave me alone.

I spend the whole class ignoring him. The moment the bell rang, I picked up my stuff and got out so fast he didn't had a chance to say anything. I then run to the only place I will get peace, Diavolo's office.
