May's POV

I had a wonderful sleep, warm, comfortable and no one to bother me, yet all that went to shit when I woke up. I felt a bit of regret for lashing out on Diavolo and Lucifer. I grab my D.D.D, I have a new message from Diavolo.

Dia

I'm sorry for the way I acted, I should have known better.

The guilt just gripped my troth tighter as I read the message so I dial his number and when he answered. "I'm sorry for being such a bitch" I said before he could say anything. "...I do not know how to respond to such a bold apology" Diavolo said with a light tone that made me smile. "Let me make it up to you" I answered and he chuckled "Alright, I'm intrigued on what you'll come up with." He said with his cheery voice and that made the guilt melt a bit. "Honestly, so am I" I replied giggling a bit at the possibilities. "Should I be scared?" He asked laughing "Maybe" I teased "oh boy" He said sighing but it sounded amused. "I'll see you later Dia, take care" I said with a slight smile. "Take care as well" I hang up and start heading to the dinning room. As I go down the stairs I notice everyone staring at me except Lucifer. He kept acting like yesterday did not happen. I don't blame him, I wish to do the same. I sit next to Asmo, as usual and the table is dead silent. "So when were you planning to tell me about your dirty secret?" Asmo ask pretending to be offended. I smile at him "I kind of forgot. It was the last thing in my mind after being kidnapped by demons" I said a bit bashful. "Excuses" Asmo responded playfully. I could help but sigh, feeling everyone's eyes on me. "Look, it's not a big deal. I do magic just like any other sorcerer." I said trying to make them stop looking at me like I just turn back time. "Are you a witch?!" Mammon asked horrified "what? No....I mean i don't think I am. Am I?" I asked while looking at Lucifer and he just glared at me. "So, no. I'm not" I said nervously but Mammon didn't look convinced "Do you possess pacts?" Satan asked out of nowhere "no and I won't ever have one" I respond "lier!! You wanted to have a pact with me!" Mammon exclaimed while pointing at me. "That's true but it was because if I had a pact with you I could get Lucifer off our backs and you wouldn't have to babysit me" I explain calmly "Is that so?" Lucifer chimed in "yeah, but in the end Mammon said no" I answer "He is truly stupid" Levithan said laughing "not really, his pretty smart" I retorted "what-what??" He stumbled with his words when my words got out of my mouth. "Yeah, Mammon is actually pretty smart. He knew my plan before I even admitted to him and he can count money faster than a normal person...or demon?" I argued and Mammon just look at me with no emotion, just blank. "Are you really defending this scum?" Asmodeus asked and it rubbed me in the wrong way "I am because his own brothers won't, even when he takes it because he loves you all." I said as I stand up and take my food and then offered my hand to Mammon. I could his eyes tear up as he hesitantly takes it. "Come on Mams" I gently said as I softly drag him to my room while his brothers just look utterly confused and a tad offended.

When we reached my room I shared my food with him. He didn't say anything the whole while which was concerning me. "Do you really think I'm smart?" He whispered and it made my heart ache "I know you are and I can prove it" I answered confidently. I stand and look for my math notebook. Mammon looked confused but didn't argue with me I then look for an exercise to give him and once I found one that took me a while to figure out, I write it down on another's paper. "Mams, this numbers represent grim and the result of this exercise is what grim you have left after doing a shopping spree. What do you have left?" I ask, taking another approach. I know I don't need to explain the steps he must take to get to the answer. He has them deep in his brain but doesn't use them because the numbers have no meaning to him. In his eyes they are zeroes. "29" He said without even missing a beat. "Mams, don't you need to write your process to figure it out?" I asked as I look for the answer and when I found it my heart stopped. It's is 29. "That's to much effort" He just said and I was to shock to say anything. I knew he was smart but not this smart. I then test him again with an even harder exercise and again he just looks at it and answers correctly. "Fuuuuck" I said breathless. "What??" He asked confused. "Dude, your a fucking genius" I said genuinely impressed "I-I mean, of course I a-am" he stuttered embarrassed. He was so red it was hard not to be concerned. I then hold his face and he screeched but I didn't let it deter me. "Mammon I'm fucking serious, does exercises aren't sum and adding basic shit this is hard core math, sure the basics of it but it's not easy for most people and you just look at it and had it in the bag!!!" He look at me like I was spouting the craziest theories like the triangle of death and all of that shit. "Mammon, do you know what this means??" I asked as I let him go.
