Chapter 2: Signs of Counterattack

"S-6 here, all units prepare for departure" Vasily Kolchak said through radio before he sighed as he looked over preparing troops. He was choosen to lead ground force of Coaltion through so called "Gate". Equiped with basic reservist weaponry, which inluded AK-74M's, RPK-74's, DSHK HMG's. Suprisingly they were given new 122mm howitzer's, With higher command supposedly possibly giving more in future. 

"Major Vasily Kolchak?" familiar voice said. he turned seeing man with Black well kept hair. "My name is Captain Anthony Harman, also known as AWACS Vita. I been assigned to command the air elements of expedition force." Said Anthony saluting. "Stand down" Vasily saluted back. "Are Magadan flyboys joining us?" asked major looking over nearby logistical list. "Affirmitve, Peacekeeper squadron "Canine" will be joining the expedition force once we manage to create temporary dirt strip on the other side" Right, so expect no air support if enemy is waiting on other side, great. "fortunetly we will have attack helicopter flight coming through once main force goes" Harman adds, seeing expresion on Vasilis face.

"So we got around 600 men from Magadan if we count Unification Militia and additional 200 from UKA." Speak of the devil, they shall appears, as a blonde man, in his early twenties walks into room "Major Kolchak? Im Sergeant Benjamin Walker, i am one who is in charge of UM forces going through gate." Well that takes care of that. "Understood, are UM forces ready to Embark?" Asks Kolchak as he looks over orders given by high command. "Affirm, all elements ready to depart on command" Answers Benjamin. "Understood, orders are about to be given off, dismissed" Vasily answers, as both Sergeant Walker and Captain Harman salute and walk off, as Vasily himself get on radio and start speaking 

"This is Major Vasily Kolchak to all elements, We been choosen to lead the charge against the invaders, we will be first combat copable units to go through gate and begin our counterattack. Those savages have taken Thousands of people hostage, and we are ones who will bring them back!" Shouts could be heard from troops "Our orders are to secure are around the gate on the other site, and terminate all hostiles spotted! You have to be ready for combat immidietly after we get through, we aint getting any air support till we set up dirtstrip. Now get on the trucks! we are going through in minutes moment time. S-6 Actual, Out" With his "Speech" ended he moved towards the lead Armored Cars which will go in first before trucks do, his AK-74M on his back. He climbs into one of them "All units report in" Kolchak said into radio, getting postive response from every unit. "We are going through, driver, forward" Vasily commanded as convoy started moving. As vechicles moved inside. Vasily could only see light given off my car lights, everything else being pitch black. All forces kept radio silence as they moved through. Vasily grew uneasy as he started checking his weapon, his AK-74M fully loaded. Suddenly bright light can be seen, as vechicles drive through exit of gate, a hilly area can be seen and... Ah shit- 

"ALL UNITS ALL UNITS HOSTILE ELEMENTS SPOTTED 100 METERS AWAY!" Vasily shouts through radio as Armored cars stop, turning to make makeshift cover. Vasily gets out and quickly takes cover behind the car, as trucks stream out of gate. "WEAPONS FREE!" He orders as he and other units from armored cars open fire on enemy forces.  "Ah shit- ARROWS VOLLEY, TAKE COVER!" Vasily Screams out as arrows land, few unlucky soldiers hit by arrows, fortunetly non-lethaly "Take them to Safety!" He orders to other soldiers as they drag them behind trucks which stopped, UM units getting off the truck. "Major Kolchak!" Vasily looks behind him to see Benjamin, Armed with AKM take cover right next to him "What the situation?!" "Enemy forces, around 100 meters away, Companies worths" Vasily answers, before he shoots enemy warrior. "Nailed it, shit... Where are LMG's?! we need to set them up before we get overrun!" Vasily says before he looks towards gate, Trucks moving 

"Sir! enemies spotted all around the gate!" one of Soldiers speaks out, fortunetly friendly units arrive on masse, enough to hold the line. Suddenly explosion appear in enemy zone. "This is UKA mortar teams, good effect on target, FIRE FOR EFFECT!" Another row of explosion appears, causing high losses on enemy force. "S-6 TO ALL ELEMENTS! CONTINUE THE ENGAGEMENT! PUSH TILL WE CREATE SAFE ZONE!" Vasily screams into radio, as he opens fire once more, reload, fire, reload fire. Few arrow volleys hit some of Coaltion forces, but without the effect. 

"All units, keep engaging, i want them wiped!" Benjamin orders UM forces, as they fire on retreating forces. "S-6 Actual... continue engaging." Vasily says, sighing as he looks on devasted zone full of corpses. "That... went well" Says Benjamin as he looks over the area. "S-6 Actual to UKA units, set up the tents, and park trucks in organized fashion, we will be setting up temporary settlement till further orders" Kolchak commands as soldiers start reorganizing, few injured being taken care off as few empty trucks move back through gate to get additional supply. "Well thats helluva beggining huh?" Walker asks "Yea it is... gonna be bloody war, and the blood will be shed mainly on our enemies..." Vasily answers as he turn around, preparing to deal with the nightmare of every commander.... Logistics
