Ignoring the day's events, Kim Rok decided to take a break. He made a pit stop at the restroom before heading to the cafeteria.
His absence had been noticeable, as more than 30 minutes had passed since he left.
Upon his arrival, he noticed his friends, Lee Soo Hyuk and Choi Jun Soo, whose curious expressions seemed to demand an explanation.
Ignoring their silent inquiries, Kim Rok simply said, "A problem" before sliding into a seat across from them. Choi Jun rolled his eyes and began to eat, understanding that Kim Rok wasn't going to elaborate further on the 'problem'.
As a result, the trio began their meal, although Kim Rok's enjoyment was somewhat marred by his friends' flirting.
Once the meal ended, it was time for the academy students to return to their dormitories. Lee and Choi shared a room, while Kim Rok resided with Choi Jun's brother,Choi Han another Alpha like himself.
Upon entering their room, Choi Han greeted Kim Rok politely, as he had done since their first encounter he was sure Choi Jun was behind it, "Hello Kim Rok-nim, how was your day today?" Kim Rok found this formality a bit strange, but it was consistent.
He responded, “Hello to you too, Choi Han,” though he had no intention of starting a conversation.
Choi Han continued, "Kim Rok-nim, thank you for helping my friend Cale today." Being part of the academy security, Choi Han was aware of the incident with Cale, even if he wasn't present at the time.
Kim Rok didn't respond verbally, but nodded in acknowledgment before Choi Han left the room to visit his friend.
Preferring to stay in, Kim Rok settled into his bed, sighing, "Ahh... Heaven, it's so nice to do nothing." By the time Choi Han returned, Kim Rok had already drifted off to sleep.
Choi Han dialed a number on his phone, and a cold yet soothing voice answered.
"Choi Han?"
"Cale-nim, he's already asleep. But don't worry, I'll handle it early tomorrow before he leaves," Choi Han reassured Cale before wishing him a good night.
Cale Henituse had a general aversion towards Alphas, with only a select few exceptions.
However, he was particularly repulsed by the Alpha who he suspected was following him,Kim Rok Soo.
The Alpha's scent was potent and unpleasant to Cale, but once it had dissipated, Cale found himself longing for more.
He felt a strange heat coursing through his body, an unfamiliar sensation of desire towards Kim Rok Soo.
He recalled Eruhaben's words when he woke up, "You immediately need someone to take care of you! If you knew how this young man's scent was clinging to you..." The rest of his words were a blur to Cale.
A sweet smile spread across Cale's face at the thought of Kim Rok Soo, a reaction that would undoubtedly scared the Alpha.
"Kim Rok Soo, huh?" He savored the name of the Alpha who had unwittingly captured his attention.
