Authors Note

Okay I know I usually put this at the end and there will still be one at the end but I need to say some things before you start reading and that is the with publishcation of this chapter the poll to add a love interest has come to a close. The reason the poll is now closed is because the next chapter is the only time I can see adding her to the story. Also thank you to the one person who voted. I also realized that I probably should have put the poll in the bio where more people are going to see it but oh well. This chapter was supposed to be up on the 24th but I had internet Issues which are now solved. Now I am going to wrap up this beginning note because the ending note is also quite long and I wish to thank those who actually read the people who take time to read these. I will talk more at the end and I will see y'all there.

Katara and Aang are on a raised, grassy plateau. A gentle stream is running out beneath it. Katara is folding one of their sleeping blankets. Aang is lying on the root of a tree. Momo screeches and lands on the plateau as Sokka approaches.

"Great, you're back!"  Aang said with much enthusiasm

Aang leaps off the root with his airbending, landing beside the Water Tribe siblings as Sokka digs in his bag. 

"What's for dinner?" Aang asked

Sokka starts to take out nuts from his bag  "We've got a few options. First; round nuts. And some kind of oval shaped nuts? And some rock-shaped nuts, that might just be rocks." He then throws the rock-shaped nut toward Momo "Dig in!" Aang and Katara look at each other then back at Sokka.

"Seriously ... what else you got?" Katara asked 

"I got a dead Ostrich Horse" I Mumbled because of the carcass that he was dragging

"Well what else did you find Y/N?" Aang asked 

"Just take the bag Aang" I said

I told Aang that I would forage for him first and then hunt for some meat for the rest of us. So I requested they put a bag on my horn so I could store any produce.

Aang took the bag off my horn. Then I dragged the carcass to sokka so he could gut it or whatever they needed to do that makes it edible. Meanwhile sokka was torn between being  jealous and being excited over a good meal.

"Y/N where did you find all this?" Katara asked with suspicion in her voice 

"Uhh in the wild" I answered nervously 

"Suuure" Katara purposely dragged out she doesn't have to understand what I say only my reactions. Then Katara continued "If we find out that any of this belonged to someone you are going-" However she is interrupted by the earth quaking.

"What was that?" Sokka asked not long after asking a second quake shook the ground

"It's coming from over there!" Aang announced

"Shouldn't we run away from huge booms? Not toward them?" Sokka asked as Aang and Katara took off to the source of the noise. I on the other paw simply said what first came to my head which was "Great more food for me" 

While Sokka might not understand what I verbally said he understood my body language enough.

"Oh no Y/N you left us to deal with those three trials back in Omashu so you are coming to help with whatever is happening this time!" Sokka said before following Aang and Katara. Yeah apparently they were not happy with me just leaving them in a room with no way out.
