it's been a long time coming but hi guys!! to the few who have stuck around till the end of this fic since i first wrote it in february of 2020, y'all are real asf and i am so sorry it took three years finish this shit oml😭

what started off as a darker twist on classic fairytales mixed with some frisky content turned into something a little more original towards the end which was fun to experiment with, but time consuming for sure..

regardless i am hoping you all enjoyed the ride, it's been a bumpy one for this book but also a little bit of smooth sailing?? maybe.

anyway, sad as it may be, this book has met its end, and i will no longer be writing reader insert books. it became hard to write these last few years because it's tough when you want to be inclusive for all races, ethnicities, genders, etc. that and it's hard to flesh the reader out without displeasing an audience by not making them relatable — or being too relatable..

furthermore, i wrote this as a female insert back when gn, nb and male readers weren't really popular on here, so i apologize if it isn't fully inclusive :') if you want gender neutral content, i have drabbles and headcanons on my tumblr</3

i'm just not very used to writing from second person pov — and that is normally what i use when writing gender neutral content since again, it's hard to describe a reader in third person pov

anywho, for the fellas who still want oikawa related content, i have two tooru x oc fics published on here if they interest you? i will admit, they are a little more self indulgent on my end.. but anyway, 'oikosterone' is set in the hq canon, following the characters of seijoh along with various ocs if you miss just experiencing normal haikyuu and my twist on seijoh's story since we already witnessed karasuno<3 'illicit affairs' is set in the timeskip but with a good ol' hero x villain au to make things interesting cuz villain oikawa has me OBSESSED.

aside from that i have two haikyuu x ocs crossover fics that were initially applyfics ( still are but applications are closed ). if you like star wars, specifically the prequel trilogy and clone wars, 'fall of the jedi' is definitely worth reading! if you like genshin impact, the acotar book series and the cruel prince trilogy — then 'a court of sullied dreams' might interest you<3

not interested in long fics? my tumblr, silverflqmes, has a good bit of drabbles and headcanons for haikyuu, genshin impact and honkai star rail! if you are interested in genshin, specifically tartaglia, i have a short story on here called 'kiss me goodbye' set in the liyue archon quest. pure angst but some fluff😪

finally, if you guys enjoyed the final act of this story specifically, i am working on an original fantasy romance book outside of wattpad that i am hoping to someday publish :') act three of 'fantasy' was sort of a trial run and a short story format of it. now in no way will it be a tooru fic.. nor will it be exactly like the final arc of this book, but some aspects are gonna return to the wip i'm writing along with a whole new world and cast of characters that my besti and i have come up with<3
