CHAPTER 21

Danica POV

"What good news??" I asked, filled with curiousity. Since it's a good news, what could it be? Might as well find out.

"Me, your dad and the Guerra's are going back home, right now we're in a plane so it won't be long till we reach the mansion." Mom said, and I was over the moon. Finally, it's been quite a while since they left. I've missed them so much.

"So, while your there enjoy your little vacation with Lorenzo, while your at it." Loren added. I chuckled at the response. Oh how our parents love seeing us together.

"Well do" I responded. We then said our good-byes and ended the call. I was squealing in joy, can't wait to tell this to Lorenzo.

So, I ran as fast as I could to get to his office. I didn't care about his men staring at me weirdly, I just wanna tell Lorenzo the news. When I reached his office, I knocked on the door once. I heard a loud 'come in' coming from inside so I opened the door.

"Looks like someone's happy today, something happened?" He asked with a smile. Tilting his head to the side. I sat opposite to him and told him the good news.

"Well, I'm sure there almost back home already, since the flight is fast" he said with a smile.

"You seemed happy too, what happened?" I asked.

"Go get changed, we're going somewhere." he said with a chuckle. Why is this day full of surprises?

"And where's that?" I asked raising an eyebrow. And full of curiosity.

"That's a secret for you to find out later. But for now go get changed if your ready tell me." He responded, I nodded and left the room. What's he planning today? Must be another meeting with the kashirima brothers.

So, I did change into some black skirt and light red and white shirt with sleeves of red, I could see black suits me. I took out my black shoes and went to the mirror yo take a look.

"Damn I look hot"

I think I'm ready to go. I took my shoulder bag with grey beads in it's sling and went back down. I'm excited actually.

"I'm back" I said, pushing the door open. Lorenzo looked at me with a different smile on his face.

"You expect me to allow you to go out wearing over showing skin attires?" He said.

"I can protect myself, Lorenzo. Just chill okay" I say with a smirk, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Well, if you can't I will" he said with a smirk. Yeah yeah, do whatever you want.

"Shall we?" He asked, as he stood up from his chair. I nodded and we made our way out to the front of the house, seeing a car waiting for us.

"I'll take it from here" he said to his men with a cold tone. The man gave the keys and left immediately. Lorenzo opened the door for me and I thanked him.

"So, where are we actually going?" I asked again. I liked it when Lorenzo is cold to others except me, he's starting to show his other side. The good side.

"Somewhere special" he just simply replied.
