CHAPTER 15

Lorenzo POV

I was in my office, finishing all the paperwork. Remembering about yesterday, That was the first time I opened up on someone.

~FLASHBACK~

After that incident that happened in Leo's mansion. Everyone fell asleep as soon as our meeting was done. I guess they were tired. But I stayed in the bar room. Drinking 'till my heart's content when suddenly I heard footsteps coming from the door. By the sound of how heavy those footsteps was, I already knew who it was.

"Still awake, I see?" Dario spoke from behind and I just took a sip of a glass of wine I have in my hand.

"Same as you" I simply responded after drinking again. I could hear Dario chuckled from behind. Well, that's a first.

"Che cosa?" I asked sternly. He went to the counter to get a glass and sat down beside me to pour some wine in his glass. (What?)

"You've changed, but in a good way actually" he responded as he leaned back to the chair. What does he mean now. I just looked at him, raising an eyebrow.

"Well, you've changed ever since she came. You became more interactive with her and don't you even dare to deny it, you always smile when she's around, it's obvious." Dario chuckled and he took a sip of the wine.

"I always interact with you and Rocco, and I sometimes smile too" I responded genuinely.

"But it's not the same as Danica's" he says with a smug look on his face. I just playfully rolled my eyes.

~PRESENT~

Maybe she did change something in me. I shouldn't be thinking so much about this. I closed my laptop and left my office with my phone. I went up to the stairs and walked through the dark hallway. Scrolling through my phone. I didn't go straight to my room this time. I went somewhere around the house to see an old family. I tilted the lamp of one of the hallways which opened a secret elevator. I stepped inside and the secret entrance closed. The elevator stopped. It opened showing a very idyllic room with no windows.

"How have you been?" I said as I put my hands inside my pockets.

"Just same as always, what brings you here?" Lorence asked as he puts down the book he was reading.

"Can't I even have a time to be with my twin?" I asked with a smile and he just chuckled. It's been a while since Lorence and I spoke.

"I have something for you" I said in a decent tone. Taking out the a newly bought Rolex watch from my pocket and walked up to him. I sat beside his bed and handed it to him.

"A new watch, this time I could track time again" he says sarcastically and I just chuckled.

"Hey, let me ask you something" I said looking at him directly in his eyes snd he raised an eyebrow.

"Go ahead" he simply replied and I cleared my throat.

"Did you hire someone for Danica?" I asked sternly, as I turned serious. I knew he was the one who hired that maid for Dani. She said that maid was hired by Don L. That initial is very obvious.

"Why do you ask?" He says with a grin and I already knew the answer was yes.

"You hired someone named Elena Vinci for Danica to be her personal maid?" I asked and he turned serious.
