I stood in front of a claw machine, my hand gripping onto the joystick of the machine before me. I narrowed my gaze and stared as I piloted the controls towards the white furred monkey plushie in the arcade game. The claw gripped onto the plushie's head... It pulled the plushie upwards... It moved the plushie towards the prize shoot... And promptly dropped it right before reaching the prize shoot.

"ARGH- DAMMIT!" I hissed and kicked the bottom the bottom of machine- only to yelp in pain. "EUGH- IT ATTACKED ME!-" I huffed after calming down, crossing my arms over my chest and turning on my heel to face the others. I sighed and felt a small smile curl my lips upwards at the sight of MK and Mei playing some arcade game together.

"Button mash all you want MK, you'll never beat my ancient galloping fury power." Mei stated calmly with a victorious smirk as she was clearly winning the fighting game. Sandy suddenly spoke, encouraging MK like an absolute backseat gamer. "Up smash! Up smash!" Sandy cheered. "I'm trying Sandy! Okay!? I'm trying, I'm trying!" MK yelped out with a panicked tone in response. "Mwahahaha! No one can defeat me!" Mei laughed in victory, pumping her fist into the air as the game continued.

Suddenly, Mei's phone began ringing. Mei blinked, grabbing her phone out of her pocket and looking at the caller ID. She sighed, seeing it was her mother calling. "Oh boy, uh hi mom-" Mei spoke into her phone whilst walking a bit away to talk to her mother- I couldn't hear the rest of what she was saying, though.

MK took his chance and snickered, beating Mei's unmoving character in the game. I glanced over at Mei as Sandy approached her- I followed suit, walking over. "Hey, you okay there Mei?" Sandy questioned in a concerned tone. "Yeah Mei, something up?" I also questioned, tilting my head and stuffing my hands into my pockets.

"Yeah! Yeah- yeah.. It's just-" Mei was cut off by sounds from the game MK was still playing. Squinting, I could make out that MK's character had won against Mei's. MK struck the same pose as his game character and gave a triumphant laugh. Mei sighed and turned her attention back to what she was saying.

"My parents, they want me to.. house sit-" Mei rubbed the back of her head awkwardly and glanced away. "Oh, that a problem?" I questioned. Ah, this must be the 'Coming Home' episode- I wonder if I can save the pinball machine.. "Then.. that's a bad thing?" Sandy blinked. "No! Uh, me and my parents-" Mei began, only to be interrupted by MK once more. "Uh, did Mei say.. SLEEPOVER AT HER HOUSE!?" MK cheered, not picking up on the tone of the conversation whatsoever. "What!? No my parents would-" Mei tried to reason with MK, but was interrupted again. "Sleepover!!" MK pumped his hands into the air in celebration, his voice raising in pitch.

"MK, Mei clearly doesn't want us to go to her house, chill out." I sighed, grabbing him by his sleeve and stopping his cheering- yet MK paid no mind to me and continued. "I've always wanted to see inside Mei's secret dragon house full of secret dragon stuff.. C'MON PLEASE? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!?" MK escaped my grasp of his sleeve and rushed over to Mei, begging with puppy dog eyes.

Mei sighed, looking away in defeat. "Sleepover it is.." Mei looked kinda upset. "Awh yeah, this sleepover's gonna be amazing! I'll bring my Monkey King DVDs so we can have a marathon!" MK rambled on to me, Sandy, and Mei. Though, my attention shifted to a suspicious figure in the distance- a bull clone.

That can't be good- I sighed to myself and furrowed my brows as I looked back over at MK, Sandy, and Mei. I shot Mei a worried side glance and crossed my arms behind my head. This isn't going to end well, is it?

|Later, at Mei's house.|

"Woah! It's even better than I thought!" MK cheered and darted around the front of the mansion excitedly, Sandy and him both looking on in awe. "Mei, you know you don't have to let us in, right?" I leaned over and whispered to Mei, slightly worried. "It's fine, don't worry." Mei offered a slightly sad smile.
