Chapter 6

"Where did I keep it" I murmured in the shevering cold, I was freezing in the low temperature, after haldi I realised I didn't bring my phone back with me to the room, I wish it was here only, it was my best friends haldi today

I bent down the table as I clearly remember, I kept them on the table before involving myself in the ceremony, I guess someone took it and gave it in the receptionist of the resort

Before I could stand up, a thick cloth wrapped around my shoulder sending a warmth to my body, I froze at my place, I held the end of the shawl and turned to man I didn't see in the past three weeks

"What are you doing in this cold outside" he said in hoarse voice, the cold breeze made his voice more deep or it's just me hearing his voice after long time

"Nothing that you should worry about, thank you for the shawl even tho it was not needed" I said trying to avoid any type of conversation, I simply hate the idea of talking to men when most of them carry tons of ego, even tho I know Ayaan is not like others but still I couldn't bring myself to talk to him normally without any argument when at the first place our opinion and chose are the same

"Ya as if you would have not froze to death if I didn't come" sarcasm drip his words, I stood to go when he said "and about my first question I thought in case you were searching for this phone then I would have give it to you" he said when I saw him taking a green case phone and my eyes shined, so here it was

"Thank you for... keeping it safe" I said stretching my hand to take the phone but due to the cold my hands were shevering and I hit the phone which was about to fall but Ayaan caught it

"Woo! easy! Miss tousin" he said holding my shevering hand and kept my phone safely in my hand, his hands were warm enough to warm up my whole hand

"Thank y-you once again" I said shuttering and turned walking inside, he also followed me inside

By the time we reached inside and I turned to give the shawl back he was vanished, he was like air came without notice and went without leaving a hint, I shrugged and thought to give it tomorrow, however we will be crossing path for next 2 days

I reached my room and saw Palak already fast asleep in her cosey blanket, I went to my bed, ya we share one room as it had two beds, I took my laptop and chose to watch some Netflix but after an hour I switched website to website when I found some interesting current affairs, not to mention I was also on top search of current affairs once, I had a conference session next week, thank god it is in Jodhpur only because I had no mood to travel State to State

The seventh time I yawned I knew it was time for a nape and slipped my laptop on side table and myself under the blanket for next 3 hour

Time flew and when I got up I was already late to get ready for Sangeet

"You should have poured water" here I was arguing with Palak for not waking me up, according to her she tried but I didn't wake up

I changed into the light pink sharara, and big fat jumka which I will regret, first because I am allergic to artificial, second I am not habitual of wearing this heavy earrings
