Volume 1 - Chapter 1: The Demonic Geniuses (Class Apollyon)

To be honest, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji was thinking about many things.

Especially when it comes to Advanced Nurturing High School, the prestigious he and his friends were gonna enter.

According to the informations he found, this school is placed on a island and also is a mini society of sorts. ANHS also boasts about their 100% employment/college acceptance after graduating here. This is why almost all students went here to get the guarantee reward this school offer.

However, to Kiyotaka, this 100% guarantee reward had to be a bait of sorts, as nothing is free in life, there must be a sort of catch to this.

Even when he and his fellow survivors got an odd email that said they were accepted but it also said that they were placed in a class called Class Apollyon?

If he remembered correctly, the Japanese structure of high schools usually base it off of the alphabets of A to D. Then why was this Apollyon class different from the other classes?

And then it clicked on his head: It could be that there is more to this school then there is on the surface.

Right now, he and other 19 fellow survivors were in a big limo, and they were going to ANHS. But then he thought: Did he consider them as friends? Truly friends? Even though the concept of friends was still foreign to us, they were still trying to put effort into it of course-

?1: Oi Kiyotaka, stop monologuing please! It's weird as fuck!

As expected, Kiyotaka can't escape from Tabito Karasu, who interrupted his usual monologue with a bonk on his head.

?2: Hey Tabito, it's not good to hit someone's head. In fact, you might cause brain damage to them.

Nagi Seishiro retorted to Tabito, but as we knew, this wouldn't end well.

Tabito: Yeah yeah yeah, Mr. Smarty, I'm fully aware of that. But actually, I'm really interested in what Mr. Expressionless here was thinking about.

Nagi: Come to think of it, what were you thinking about, Kiyotaka?

Kiyotaka: Well, this school sure is really odd, I can't shake off the feeling that this school is maybe hiding something from us.

?3: Could it be that 100% guarantee reward is a bait? Maybe it is a reward for certain people.

Another man interrupted the conversation, it was Seijuro Akashi.

Tabito: A bait huh? Hehe, if that's the case then this school is gonna get interesting.

?4: I couldn't agree better myself, perhaps this school will give us some entertainment.

?5: And maybe, some more people for us to control, hehehe.

Kirari Monobami and Misogi Kumagawa laughed sinisterly.

Kiyotaka: Class Apollyon, huh?

?6: What's wrong, Kiyotaka-kun?

Out of nowhere, Nana Hiiragi asked Kiyotaka.

Kiyotaka: It's nothing, Nana.

Yuuichi: Kiyo bro, you seem intrigued about our class name, perhaps this school gives out weird names for classes, I mean this school is suppose to be a mini society right?

Shinichi: If you think this school would give us this name just for fun, then I disagree with that. Perhaps this school is based on society, although we don't have enough evidences to prove it.

Yuuichi Katagiri and Shinichi Akiyama commented their opinions.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Chisato Nishikigi appeared and was laying on Tabito's head.
