Volume 2 - Chapter 9: Disruption Plan

During homeroom session...

Hayama: Chabashira-sensei. We have something we want to confirm quickly.

Chabashira: What is it Hayama?

Hayama: Last week, when you told us what was covered on the test, did you make a mistake? Yesterday, some students from Class C told us that their test was different. What does it mean?

Hayama asked Chabashira about the study material for the midterm, which he was told by Class C that Class D was studying wrong things.

Chabashira: What do you mean? I don't understand?

Shinohara: Stop acting nonchalant like that sensei! This is serious problem!

Without batting an eyebrow, Chabashira listened to Shinohara, then she responded.

Chabashira: What those students from Class C said before is right: The topics covered on the test were changed last Friday. Sorry, I forgot to tell you guys.

Class D: WHAT?!

Then she writing down the new scope of the upcoming exam on whiteboard. However most of the defects had never learnt about that scope, except Haru - who is obviously smart and didn't care about the class, and Maya's group - who had studied with Nagisa's group and had doubt about it beforehand.

Ike: W-Wait a bit, Sae-chan-sensei!? Aren't you are too carefree about this?! We had only 2 weeks before exam, isn't this too late?!

Chabashira: No, I don't think so. If you study hard starting now, everything will be fine, no?

Without any second thoughts, the teacher answered it as if she didn't do anything wrong at all.

Chabashira: Beside, even if you guys yammering about it, nothing will change. You understand that, right?

Most of the defects reluctantly nodded.

Chabashira: Then, if there is no question left. I'll leave class now.

With that, Chabashira left the class, leaving a commotion inside not long after she left.

Karuizawa: I can't believe it! Just what's wrong with her?!

Shinohara: I don't like it so much! That woman is too carefree for a teacher! She should do better with her job!

Meanwhile, with Maya's group, they were still calm despite this crisis.

Haruka: Haiz... A defect class got a defect teacher huh? Just what's wrong with this class?

Akito: Seriously, I'm bothered with this as well.

Haruka: She knows that doing this could destroy her career later in the future, doesn't she?

Maya: I think so. Luckily, thanks to Shiota-kun and his friends, now we don't need to worry about the exam.

As for Haru, the Devil was grinning evilly while seeing this commotion.

Haru: Hehe... Who knows that this is the most defective class I've ever seen in my entire life? From the students to the two teachers, I predict that this useless class would be wiped out sooner or later in the 1st year.

Suddenly, Ike shouted in panic.

Ike: Hey! With this sudden change, then aren't we losing to their team in this bet from the beginning?!

With that sentence from Ike, many defects turned pale as they remembered they had challenged both Class S, Class Apollyon, and Maya's group before. The condition is whichever team snags the most top rankings over the five key subjects gets to make the losing team do whatever they want.
