Volume 1 - Chapter 5: The House of Manipulators (Class B)

Today, it was April 1st.

April 1st was also the day when the self-proclaimed best detective in the world, Siesta Takanashi entered ANHS, a school where most students come here to be elite.

Right now, the white-haired girl was now sitting in her assigned class, Class B.

Although she noticed something was odd and weird, like the cameras hidden in the corners.

However, she kept that to herself because this school could be just doing this for precautions. On the other side, her detective senses told her that she should be cautious just in case if the cameras are for a different purpose.

Okay, spotting cameras, done.

Next thing to do: Observing her classmates.

Immediately, Siesta started observing her surroundings by using her blue eyes. And what she saw, were some interesting people.

There was a girl with long black hair and red eyes, she seemed elegant from how she was sitting. Standing beside her was a blue-haired boy, who seemed to be harmless but more cautious ans serious.

Next was a group of three people that looked to be friends already, perhaps they are already knew each other before coming here. One was a boy with brown hair and green eyes, another one was a girl with long blue hair and cheerful attitude, and then a lavender hair girl with purple eyes that she gave off a stoic vibe from her.

Interesting people from what Siesta was seeing from her seat.

And finally, there were 4 people that she deemed to be the most dangerous ones in this class: A girl with long blonde girl in two pigtails; a boy with brown hair, who seems off like that blonde girl; a calm black-haired boy giving her some sinister vibes; and a blonde boy wearing glasses, who looks like a typical delinquent but more dangerous.

Although from the look of normal people, those 4 people seemed harmless and friendly at first. But to Siesta Takanashi, they were really dangerous. She thought they could be some kind of manipulators.

Before she could finish up, their homeroom teachers came. The male teacher had blonde hair, while the female teacher had violet hair. But the only thing they both have was a relaxing expression. Plus, they also seemed like foreigners.

Johan: Alright Class, please settle down. Now Class B, we'll be your homeroom teachers for the next three years so we hope we get to know all of you. My name is Johan Liebert and yes, I'm a foreigner. Also, I will be your English teacher. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Ai (Magase): My name is Ai Magase, also your homeroom teacher and History teacher. Like Johan-sensei, I'm also a foreigner. Nice to meet you all.

The two senseis both said in a soft tone that was almost angelic... Too angelic and innocent in Siesta's opinion.

Johan: We will now distribute written materials with information about this school's special rules. We will also hand out the admissions guide. We will now hand out your student ID cards. These can be used to gain access to any of the facilities provided on the campus, purchase goods from the stores and so on. It acts like a credit card. At this school you can use your points to buy anything. Anything that is present on the school premises is available for purchase.

Siesta: So our IDs are credit cards here and these points are our currency? This school sure is weird and special. Also sensei seemed to subtly emphasize on the points can be used to purchase anything. I wonder what is the extent of that.

Ai (Magase): Points are allotted to your ID Cards on the first of every month you have been allotted 100.000 points for this month, each point is worth 1 yen.
