The next day I got a call from Walker. "Hello?" I say " hey Palmer it's Walker, I was wondering if you want to hang out with me today, I don't have any scenes to shoot and I was thinking it's a good idea to hang before I go back home." He said " yeah sure that sounds like fun, how about you come over here in like 30 minutes." I said " ok sounds like a plan see you later." He said I get up off my bed and head over to my closet to pick out something to wear, as I was doing my makeup I thought of Brady last night. Why did he leave? Did we almost kiss? Was it because of the almost kiss? Should I text him?
I was then pushed out of my thoughts as my mom called me from down stairs. " Palmer would you come here real quick." She said I tightened my hair in a low bun and walked down stairs. My mom was beautiful, I never understood why my father left her. " sweetheart I'm heading to the country club to play some golf with my friends do you maybe want to come with?" She asks " well I was going to have walker come over in about 30 minutes maybe will take the golf cart over there." I said grabbing something to eat " great idea honey, see you then." She said giving my a kiss on the head as she headed out the door the the garage
My mom had lots of money when she was younger since my grandparents were practically millionaires but after my grandma found out she got pregnant at 16 with my dad. My grandparents didn't want to see her anymore since she had to stop modeling, which was my grandmas only dream for her daughter. So right now my mom is a ceo of her own business and is doing very well but we don't talk to grandma and grandpa anymore.
I grabbed some dog food from the Cobern for our old St. Bernard Wesley. As I dump the food he slowly hobbles over. For the rest of the time I sat in the front room and read a book. Not much later I heard a knock at the front door. " hey walker." I said letting him inside " hi Palmer." He smiled " so I was thinking we could take the golf cart to this country club, if you want to do that." I said as he followed me into the kitchen "That sound like fun to me." He said sitting down at the island
" would you like something to drink?" I asked " no I'm ok thank you though." He said smiling When he looked at me and smiled I got this weird feeling inside but I pushed it way. " ok let's go." I said as we went to the garage We got into the golf cart as I started it up. " have you ever driven a golf cart before?" I asked him " only once of set but that was to get from one set to the other." He said I giggled as I drove us out of the garage. " how far is this country club?" He asked " not far like 3 minutes away." I said " oh ok cool." He said sitting back " want to put on some music?" I asked " sure." He said
When we finally got there I parked the golf cart and we got out. " good afternoon Mrs. Eleanor." I said as we walked by the front desk " well good afternoon Mrs. Hearst. Oh and who is this?" She asked " hi I'm walker." He said smiling She gave me a smile and I just rolled my eyes smiling back. " so what should we do first?" I asked him as we walked away
" umm I don't know what do you normally do here?" He said " well my friend and I normally play pickle ball." I laugh " my mom loves pickle ball." He said laughing " ok then let's go play that." I said grabbing his hand pulling him towards the court I don't even know why I did that but I didn't let go I just acted like it was normal.
