"Winter, wake up darling." Said a woman with long white hair.
"Morning mummy" said a little girl. She had silver eyes.
"Come downstairs for breakfast. It's your favorite!" The woman said.
"French toast! Hooray!" Cried the girl. She bounded down the stairs to greet her father.
"Hi daddy!" Smiled the girl.
"Who is this? It certainly isn't my little snowstorm." A man with dark hair teased, ruffling the girls hair.
"Daddy." The girl pouted "it's me! Winter!"
"Oh I know sweetie. Let's go eat." He said.

My parents. My family.
I sat up in the top bunk and turned around.
I look around the dimly lit room, my vision still adjusting to the light.
Sitting with my legs crossed, I opened a box under my pillow. Inside was pictures, notes, letters, etc.
One picture in particular was my favorite. It was of me, my mom, and my dad.
Happily sitting outside on the porch to our cookie cutter house, having a tea party.
I sat against the wall and grabbed peg.
