It's been three hours. I notched another arrow.
There's one arrow in the center of the target.
There's about thirty others either on the target nowhere near the bullseye, or scattered across the floor.
I pull my arrow back and release.
It runs up through the arrow in the center, splintering through the wood.
Daniel nods his head from one corner, with a clipboard in his hands.
"You need to strengthen your muscles." He says.
"You look like a toothpick."
Our training continues for a month.
By the end of the month, I'm not only stronger on the outside, but on the inside.
I, Winter Marie Parker, will not let some asshole shapeshifter take over.
It's time to stop cowering like a girl a start fighting like one.
It's time to take back what's ours.
-------------------------
Me and Daniel make some coffee. It's well deserved ok?
We are much stronger. Not that weird extreme muscle body, but boy, can we take a hit.
"Now that we are stronger, we must start to control your powers." Daniel says.
"And for the record, you still look like a toothpick." He comments.
"So it's really true you and I are the only ice magic?" I say.
"Yup." Daniel answers, stirring some sugar into his cup.
I drink my coffee and we head back to the training room underground.
I think really hard on freezing everything green.
I close my eyes and clench my fists.
"Don't force it" Daniel says. "Let it flow."
My face softens. As do my hands.
I look up. Everything in the room is frozen, including Daniel.
"Now we just need to work on" he pauses to sip his coffee. "That."
