(This chapter is different from the other chapters and is the same as the last chapter in Loving My Knight as these two stories are intertwined).
Once Jon, Phoenix, Jordan and Nina are all awake. Jon and Phoenix are making breakfast for them all. They've decided to cook bacon and scrambled eggs with fresh juice. A good source of proteins to start Christmas Day. Phoenix has called Jordan and Nina to join them. "How long do you reckon they'll be before they come out?" Phoenix teases Jon knowing how much he hates talking about his brothers' sex life. "Not too long I hope or this will go cold!" Jon retorts.
Not even a few minutes later and the other couple are joining them at the dining table. "Merry Christmas to you all!" Nina grins at everyone who are now all sitting down. They all clink their glasses as they share Christmas wishes amongst themselves. "Could wake up to this every morning." She says. Jordan side eyes her as if she has forgotten about all of the breakfasts in bed he's brought her since they first got together but she places her hand on his thigh. "I mean with all of you, but I'm already very lucky." She looks straight into his eyes as she talks. After we had finished having our breakfast, we all went to sit by the sitting area with fireplace lit. I sit down while the guys pull out all of the presents for each one of us. Someone had set up their Alexa and put on the Christmas playlist for the background music. When Nina and Jordan went shopping, she bought them two a matching set of Christmas pyjamas but unbeknownst to her, he managed to buy an extra pair for his brother and Phoenix knowing Nina would love it if they all matched if they were all together. Thankfully Phoenix and Jon loved the matching pyjamas even if Jon was a little reluctant to begin with. He gave in after a pair of puppy dog eyes pleaded with him and a promise of a fun night beneath the covers later on.
Each person enjoying opening their presents and then seeing one another with what they have received is fun.
When they went grocery shopping, they unanimously decided that Phoenix would be the main cook and the other three would help out, but they let Nina decorate the table as that would be easier for her to do. She found a box of Christmas decorations and bought a few bits from the grocery store. It took her a little while to decide where to sit everyone but eventually decided on her be facing Phoenix and the brothers opposite each other. She placed down a table cloth with a runner down the middle. Then she placed four plates and cutlery. From the store, she carefully placed the fairy lights along the middle with eco friendly Christmas crackers in front of each person. She was able to leave plenty of room for the dishes to be put down along the middle. There was something else that was missing and after staring at the table, it dawned on her... "ah yes, glasses!!" She was about to shout one of the guys to fetch her them but suddenly remembered how she made them promise not to go over to the table until she was done with getting it ready, so she went to get them herself. Once she places each glass down in their rightful position on the table, she stands back leaning against the wall and looks over at her work. She does a little squeal to herself and gives herself a clap! Okay, she's excited and proud of herself, ha! She takes a photo of her work to look back on.
