~Cam Pov~
It was a busy day today. I found so many nice flowers... But I didn't have that big of a budget... So my choices were... Limited. I really just wanted to get home and have a nice meal and go to sleep.
I started walking up the stone stairs to the café, when I heard talking and laughter. I was really curious, but I just shook the thought away. I was to tired to think right now.
I entered the café slowly.
"Sorry I'm late..." I said slowly walking into the café. As soon as I entered though... There was dead silence. I turned around to face the counter. I saw Howard and Laney, as usual. But... I saw this young woman sitting at the counter. She definatly wasn't that fimilar... Well that I could see. She had pretty brown hair and a older style of clothing on. She was definately very pretty.
But I couldn't help but stare. I couldn't say anything... All I could do was stare...
"Cam, this is Lillian, the new farmer who has come to live in Bluebell." Laney said trying to break the awkwardness.
"Hi, I'm Cam. I run the flower shop outside this café. I also live here with Laney and Howard." I felt like I gave away to much information, but Lillian didn't care.
"Nice to meet you Cam!" She smiled a warm smile. "Im very delighted to meet you!" She smiled and giggled at her own words. She has a nice smile too. But I shouldn't be saying that. She only just moved here. I shouldn't think things like that anyways.
"We were just about to have some dinner that Lillian bought over." Howard said.
"Oh! That's right!" Lillian seemed like she just snapped out of a trance. "Here have this Cam." She smiled as she handed me over a bowl with cooked rice in it. It looked plain, but still, it's the thought that counts.
"Thanks..." I reply and I manage to throw her a small smile.
"No problem!" She laughs. "Here you go Laney, and here you go Howard!" Lillian hands them over a bowl of rice each.
"But what about you Lil?" Laney tilts her head in confusion.
"Ahh..." Lillian looks like she has realised there is none left.
"Don't worry about it guys!" She chucks everyone a warm smile. "There is plenty more at home if I ever get hungry!" She smiled at everyone.
"Alright then... If you say so...." Howard looks at Lillian with concern.
"It's alright. Besides, I should go before it gets too dark." Lillian gets up from her seat. She bows and the waves at us goodbye.
"See you guys tomorrow ok?" She smiles before leaving the café.
After she had just left, Howard turns to me.
"Cam, I think you should walk her home." Howard looks at me with a serious face.
"Wha...? But I...." I could even think of a good reply.
"It's the gentleman thing to do." He points towards the door. "Go."
I put down the bowl. I really didn't want to argue, so I just left.
I couldn't really see her outside, but when I looked closely, I saw her figure in the distance. I wouldn't be able to catch up that quickly so I yelled at her.
"Hey Lillian! Wait up!!"
She turned around and smiled immediately saw me.
"Oh hey Cam!" She waved at me. "What can I do for you...?" She looked at me with a puzzled look on her face.
