Let's go on a Date! (Cam)

~Lillian Pov~

Yesterday was the last cooking festival of this month. We all had a blast, besides the continuous arguing of stupidity between Ina and Rutger.

Cam and Laney were both with myself as we represented Bluebell in the festival. Reina, Nori and Hiro battled us out in a contest of delicious food. Pierre, the guest judge, had a difficult time deciding which side would win. To be honest, both teams were really good, but Laney's dessert was amazing, and Cam's cooking was actually amazing, despite the fact that I didn't know what it was...

I made a simple dish, a sweet pudding, because Rutger supplied the ingredients, but I decided to use my own milk and eggs, because it was better than the one he supplied.

Everyone had their fingers crossed and we were all worried.Thankfully, Bluebell won!! Laney was really happy, and I was happy for her, because she was able to show off her talent to the others. Keno was also out of the Clinic so he came to support me and Laney, and she was really happy about that. She even cooked him a dessert to thank him!

Cam, Keno, Laney and I went back to Howard's after that, and we celebrated all into the night. Well, not really, because we all had jobs to go to in the morning, so we celebrated until everyone got tired.

~Cam Pov~

"Wake up Cammy~!" A high pitched voiced called out.

"Ugh..." I mumbled. I rubbed my eyes and looked at the clock above my door. 9 o'clock.

"Oh God!!" I half yelled, still dazed from being woken up. "I'm late!!" I dashed up and rushed in the shower. A quick shower was in order, I don't really want to smell bad if I can help it. I rushed into my cupboard and pulled out some clothes and grabbed the bouquet I took so much care in making yesterday, and ran out the door, shoes not even on properly.

I ran to Lillian's farm, to see her livestock and poultry already out and grazing. She'll surely be mad now, I've definately kept her waiting for a while now...

"Lillian I'm so sorry-" I barged in the door to see Lillian, fast sleep on the couch. I'd like to hope she fell asleep from chores this morning and hopfully not because I took a while to get here...

Lillian slightly stired in her sleep, and gently held onto the pillow her head was on. Without sounding weird, she's so cute when she sleeps... I don't wanna wake her... So I'll just tidy up her kitchen from what seems to be breakfast, or maybe last nights dinner.

As I washed up the dishes, and dried them and put them away, Lillian stayed fast asleep. I went over to her a few times to make sure she was okay, that she wasn't cold or having a nightmare or anything like that. But she was fine.

"C-Cam...?" A little croaky voice whispered gently.

"Yes Lillian...?" I whispered.

"What time is it...?" She rubbed her eyes and looked around, still half asleep.

"About nine fourty five...?" I replied calmly.

"... I'm late for our date....! Oh god!" Lillian stumbled up from the couch and rushed into the bathroom and slammed the door shut. She has obviously fallen asleep after work, well that's what it looked like to me anyways.

After about five minutes, Lillian came out of the bathroom in a pretty light blue dress with cute pink Cherry blossoms on it. It was cute and frilly, and it suited her very well. I didn't expect her to wear something that pretty, but she looked so gorgeous, so I'm not complaining.

"L-Lillian... You look flawless..." I managed to stutter while looking at her.

"T-thank you...!! You look mighty fine your self!" Lillian blushed while trying to compliment me, which was quite cute considering I don't look very good. My fashion sense is horrible.
