Chapter 6

I walk back into my room to see Jackie once again gone but that's okay cause we don't need another encounter. Well I have nothing to do today so I'll just waste one for sleep after my sick day.

I was walking around the house as I heard Cole come down stairs.
"Hey I haven't seen you all yesterday since the morning!" He says as he's smiling.
"Yeah well when you're sick all day your body needs a rest before picking up all the other stuff." I say
"So I'm guessing that you slept all day?" He says
"Oh Cole Walter you know me so well." I say
"Well I try." He says
"Oh I know you do." I say as I walk upstairs.
"Hey what are you doing today?" Cole asks
"Um I might be doing nothing the whole day or sleeping." I say
"Come down I have to play with Parker maybe you can watch?" He says
"Oh well I would love too." I said
"Oh great come on." He says
I was watching Cole and Isaac as I saw Alex and Jackie talking with Will in the barn thing. Then George walks out.
"Hey good hustle out there but it's time to hit the showers, all right?" He says
I was walking back when Cole and Parker were talking. I looked back and I still see Jackie and Alex talking but I didn't see Will anymore.
"They're perfect for each other." I say
Then I see Jackie look at Cole. So I did too.
He's a great brother. He's perfect he's sweet and kind but protective too.
I walk up to him when Parker left.
"I hope you know you're a great brother." I say
"Yeah I try really hard." He says
"Come on let's get ready and not make George mad." I say
"Yeah." He says
"Cole, catch." Parker says throwing the football.
We walk inside to see food on the table.
"I'm going to be upstairs." He says
"Wait I have to grab my stuff." I say as I also go upstairs.
"Hi Katherine," I say as I almost ran into her.
"Hey Mia." She says as she rushes downstairs
I walk into my room to grab my bag and I hear.
"Guys we gotta go!" George says
I walk out of my room to see Cole's door shut.
"Bye Cole see you at school." I said
"Bye M." I hear through the door

School was pretty boring. And now I don't even have my room to go into cause Jackie and her friends are in there. I'm going to Cole's. I don't have to knock since he's working right now.
Yes! I can sleep. I'm very happy right now.

I wake up with darkness. Then I hear someone come in.
"Hello M." Cole says
"Shh I'm sleeping." I say
"Get unready then you may sleep more but god knows those aren't comfortable to sleep in." He says
"Yeah you're right I'll see you in a bit." I say as I get up.
"Yep." He says
COLES POV!
Mia. I just want her only her. She's literally the only girl I want and maybe the only thing I want in this entire world. She's just so I don't know. She's smart but clueless and mysterious all at the same time. It drives me crazy but maybe that's the thing I like about her.
MIA POV
I get unready and I go back to Cole's room.
"What's happing tomorrow?" I ask
"A homecoming huddle." He says as he is drawing an infinity sign on my arm with his finger.
"What's that?" I ask
"You'll find out." He says
"You know I hate when you say that." I say
"No but I'm curious why you do." He says
"Because I like when people are straight forward about it not like trying to hide something from me. It's like makes me over think it and I can never understand." I say
"Ok so a homecoming huddle is a huge tailgate party where everyone is invited in the town and it's basically just for football and fun." He explains
"Oh. Are you going?" I ask
"Um I don't know yet." He says
"Well I'm only going if you go so I guess you have to go since I want to see what it is." I say
"Ugh you know how to get me to do stuff now." I say
"Yep." He says
"Goodnight Cole." I say
"Goodnight angel." He says
"Mhm another nickname." I say
"Yup and they'll never stop." He says as he scoots me closer to him.

Me and Cole went to the huddle together. Not gonna lie I didn't really like having so many people by me at one time. Jackie and Alex weren't there so we decided to do it for them. I saw the cheerleaders perform. Erin was the captain I supposed since she was the main one. Well once the cheerleaders were done Jackie and Alex came back.
"I thought you weren't coming?" Alex said
"Well I had a change of heart." Cole said
"That would you require you to have one." Alex responded.
I could tell Cole was about to say something rude so i scooted closer to him.
"Well I'm happy to leave." He said as he walks away.
"But another pair of hands couldn't hurt and he did fix the cart, right Alex." Jackie says
Ok so I'm invisible now?" I said
"What about M?" Cole says
"She can help me." Alex says
"No I'm good you guys can do your own thing." I say as I sit right by the inside of the stand.
I tuned everything until Cole comes up.
"Come on." He says as he pulls me up.
"Where are we going?" I ask
"We're leaving." He says as we go to his car.
"Oo can we go home and sleep!" I say
"If that what makes your tiny heart happy.
"Yeah it really does." I say
