Steve lost track of time as he held the shaken up Blonde in his arms. He almost found it hard to believe that he came here to scold the guy, yet instead, he was comforting him. He finally let out a small sigh, opening his eyes to look down at the still extremely upset male.
"You need to tell me what happened, I can't just keep trying to be on your side. Hell, from all I've heard from other people, I should hate you." Steve pointed out, Billy shook his head. Clenching his jaw tightly before pushing himself off Steve, stepping backward away from him.

"Then go on! Hate me. Because I'm sure as fuck not telling you shit- harrington." Billy narrowed his eyes at Steve, his eyes filled with hatred and shame. As the tears stained his skin, making him look like a sobbing mess, he brought his hand up to wipe away his tears as he turned his back to him. Steve only felt disappointment, as he started to glare at the blonde again.

"All this time, I tried to be there for you. I tried to stand up for you! Fuck I even tried being your friend!" Steve started ranting in an annoyed manner, just more upset with himself he even let himself believe Billy could change.

"Yeah, well, I never asked you too! I sure as hell don't want to be a part of your babysitting crew- and I certainly do not need to be your friend.!" Billy shouted back at him, looking over his shoulder to glare at the brunette behind him. Steve only groaned in annoyance, raising his arms.

"So what!? Are you just going to go back to Tommy and Carol!? They aren't your friends! They're no ones friends-" Steve tried to open Billy's eyes, Billy dug his fingernails into the palm of his hands. Before he brought them up to hold the sides of his head, shutting his eyed tightly.

"They are better than nobody.!! And better than the people who are a constant reminder of what happened.!" Billy snapped out again, as Steve paused for a moment. He took that in, but he still was overflowing with anger at the man. He shook his head,

"You think that's a good excuse to blame everyone for the shitty hand YOU were dealt with!? The only one fucking up your life- is YOU.!" Steve shouted at him once again,

SMASH

Steve stood there, eyes widened wide as he stared at the shattered glass of the mirror, all the peices of broken glass shards on the ground. On the counter in the sink, and dug into the fist of the blondes hand that was still resting against the middle of the cracked and battered mirror. He was huffing as blood was smeared all over the broken glass, trailing down his fist, getting caught up around his fingers. Staining his skin and the counter red, Steve continued to stare at him, at a loss for words. Anything he could say might trigger the man more, so he just stood there. Billy had his head lowered as he kept huffing, before his fist faltered slightly. His hand stained with red was trembling as the pain finally hit him. He clenched his jaw tighter than before. Cold Clear strains of water had started to trail down the sides of his face, connecting at the chin before dripping off. He shut his eyes tightly as he furrowed his eyebrows, Steve frowned at this sight. It made him sick to the stomach. Knowing that this guy, who was harming others and blaming everyone else, was hurting so much more than what everyone thought.

"..I didn't need anyone before," Billy managed to let out shaky words that were cracked and hollow. As he sniffed before standing up straight, he looked back over his shoulder at Steve, his expression unreadable, and Blank. "..I don't need anyone now."

"Billy.. This is too much for one guy to handle alone-" Steve started, as he took another step towards him. Billy scoffed and looked back down at the ground.

"You don't know anything, I'm handling it just fine." Billy responded to him.

"You broke the fucking mirror for crying out loud.! You need help!" Steve counter argued Billy, Billy looked up to stare at the mirror. The actions he had done finally hit him, as he felt immediately disappointed in himself. He then looked away again, not saying anything else. Steve finally sighed, holding his hand out. "If you won't ask anyone to help you, at least let me."

Billy paused for a moment, he stared at the wall before turning to face Steve. He didn't trust the brunette one tiny bit, yet it seemed better than spending another night alone. He looked down at his hand as he put his none blood stained hand onto Steve's, Steve then interlocked their hands. He frowned at the sight of Billy as he sighed, "..how long have you been hurting this much..?" He finally asked him, Billy, who was ready to break again. Couldn't keep anything else in, as his eyes welled up with even more ice-cold tears. Before they too trailed down his face,

"My whole life... my whole damn life." He answered him, Steve felt his heart melt at those words. He pulled the male back close to him by his hand, wrapping his arms around him once more. Capturing him in a warm embrace.
