"oye band wale o, bajao oye, aaj meri bhen ki shadi hai" one of the sarna's cousins said to the band staff.... And the loud music started to play in varanda where all the close relatives and family of Sarna were present along with her....
Sarna smiled brightly looking at her loved ones dancing in happiness... She looked down at 3 months old Vanshika in her lap who was also looking at the people around her...
"Sarna puttar, tu vansh nu lai ke upar kamre ch chalja, haje eh choti hai, ehde waste inna ucha gana changa nhi" sarna's grandfather said this to her... Sarna nodded her head and took vanshika to her room... She removed her dupatta and kept it on the side.... After making sure that Vanshika had slept she picked her mobile phone and dialed sidhant's number... On the first ring sidhant picked the call...
"Hanji dulhe raja, kaha pohche barat le kr" Sarna said in a mischievous tone...
"Haye... Lagta hai meri dulhan se intezar nhi ho rha" Sidhant said in an equally mischievous tone...
Sarna laughed and said "han bhai han... mujhse intezar nahi ho raha, par aap se to bahut intezar ho Raha, hai tabhi to nahin aaye abhi tak..."
"Agar intezar ho raha hota to barat itni jaldi nahi aati... aapke Dada Ji ne to plan kar liya tha ki 6 mahine bad hi shaadi hogi... Woh to main hi tha jisne 3 mahine mein setting karke barat itni jaldi lekar aa raha hai..." Sidhant said proudly....
"Acha baba acha, ab jaldi aa jao or vishwash ka dhyan rakhna or aayi ka bhi, ham sab yaha intezar kar rhe hai" she said... sidhant hummed and the cut the call.
there were only 15 hours left for their wedding... all the preparations were done from the both ends. sidhant and his family were coming to Punjab for the wedding. everything felt like a dream to sidhant and sarna as they watched their families celebrating for their wedding. After two hours sidhant and his family reached the station and from sarna's family her cousins went to pick up them. As they entered the wedding place, sidhant looked here there to find sarna, but he couldn't see her..
"ohh ho jija ji sabar karo, sarna yaha nhi hai, ye jagah sirf apke family ke liye booked hai, sarna ko agar dekhna hai to shadi tak intezar karo.." one of the sarna's cousins said while teasing sidhant.. sidhant felt heat rushing to his neck as he was caught red handed....
After resting for whole 5 hours, all the grooms side people started getting ready for the wedding functions...

the song played on music system as sarna entered the wedding venue decked up in bridal outfit, looking no less than a goddess... her cherry red cheeks made the song perfect for the situation... her family walked down the aisle with her being in center.... Sidhant couldn't take his eyes off Sarna... vishwash ran upto sarna and hugged her legs...
"aayiiii.... tum to bohot sundar lag rhi ho aaj" he said looking up at her... sarna smiled hearing the beautiful compliment... she bent a little and kissed his cheeks....
sidhant pulled out his hand for sarna as she came near the stage.... they looked in each other's eyes they stood infront of each other.... Sidhant felt over whelmed and his eyes were ready to shed some tears in happiness... sarna moved her head in no to ask him not to cry... sidhant gently held her face in his hands and kissed her on forehead... every body hooted at the moment making it more special for the couple... that day everyone witnessed the two broken souls healing... All the rituals were done smoothly with lot of teasing and laughter...
"chale fir apne ghar sohneyo?" sidhant asked as they settled down on their seats in airplane.... (Sohneyo means beautiful in Punjabi)
"chalo navra ji" said sarna in a playful tone... sidhant was surprised to hear her... (Navra means hubby in Marathi)
"tumhe ye kisne sikhaya?" he asked in amusement...
"jaise tumne Punjabi sikh li wasie hi maine marathi sikh li" she asked while keeping her head on his shoulder.....
"welcome home vahini!" Raghu and Payal welcomed sarna to her new home... from past few months Sidhant was doing really hardwork to earn money and buy a new home for his family and welcome them only in a better place... Aayi brought a big plate filled with Alta (the red colour for prints)...
"Sarna is thal me pair rakho or fer apne pairo ke Nishan is safed kaprhe pr do" Sarna did the same with the help of Sidhant... later on they took footprints of Vanshika also...
"Finally apne ghar aa kr bohot acha lag rha hai" said sarna as she and sidhnat led down on bed at night with Vishwash and Vanshika sleeping between them.... sidhant agreed to her...
"kash mai bhi tumhare sath yaha hoti jab ghar le rahe hote.. tumhe akele hi itni mehnat karni padi.." she said making a pout...
"are aisa kuch nhi hai baba, tum har chiz mere sath hi to thi.. agar tum na hoti to shayad mai itni mehnat karta hi nahi.. Agar mai mai hi reh jata or Hum na ho pata to shayad ye sakun jo abhi hai jindagi me vo kabhi mil hi nahi pata" he said in reply... Sarna smiled at his words...
they both knew the thing that they were incomplete without eachother... but since they are together they had done only good things and finally achieved their sweet dream of having a small cosy house for their family... Sarna might have been away from the home but she was handling so many things only on the calls... this was the payback of their hardwork... embracing the sleep around their loved one's they slept with no worries, but only love in their heart...
sometimes we might feel like lost in our lives but in reality that is the time when we meet our real self and gets to know who is our real well wisher... It is the time when we get the best experience of life... We meet the real people who lasts long for life.... Sarna and Sidhant's story depicted the same thing... their love story was not like any other fairytale, but it was not less than that... I as an author of this story wanted to write a little realistic story with a touch of drama... and I hope I was able to achieve that thing...
