THERE'S ANOTHER SKY

"aayi mere ko na bohot dar lag rha hai" sarna spoke... Today aayi is oiling Sarna's hair sitting on the terrace as it is a cloudy day with a sweet cold breeze...

"Aisa kahe ko bol rhi hai tu.. sab thik rahega" aayi said while rubbing oil in her hair...

"Pata nhi bas aisa lag rha hai ki kuch hone wala hai" sarna again said looking at the sky...

"Aaajjiii aaayyyiii aaji aayi" vishwash came shouting for them....

"Kya hua laddu aise kyu chilla rha hai" sarna spoke as she spread her arms towards vishwash...

"Aayi aapke liye phone aaya hai" he said giving a cell phone to sarna... Sarna looked at him in confusion before placing the phone near her ear....

"Hello" she spoke

"Sarna puttar, mai teri mummy bol rhi hu puttar" she heard cries of her mother from another end... Suddenly she felt no ground under her...

"Mumma.." sarna cried while calling her mum

"Han mere bache, tu kaisi hai or kaha hai tu" her mother spoke...

"Mumma aap kaise ho, aap thik ho na, papa kaise hai or baki sab kaise hai mumma" sarna cried while holding the cell phone with her both hands... Aaji and vishwash looked at her as she spoke to her mother...

"Asi sare thik han puttar, tu ghar aa ja, ham sab tere ko boht yaad karte hai" her mother cried from other side.. suddenly sarna's expression changed and she became lost in her own thoughts...

"Hello, sarna! Ki hoya bache? Kuch bol na, tu aayegi na apni maa ko milne?" Her mother asked her... Sarna looked towards vishwash and aayi with tearful eyes...

"Nhi, mai ab nhi aa sakti, aap sabne hi mujhe ghar se nikala tha to ab mai wapas kaise aa sakti hu?" She asked accusing her mother with a hurtful tone...

"Puttar mai manti hu ham sab se galti huyi thi pr tu ab aa ja, ham tujhe apnane ke liye tayiyar hai"

"Par mai ab aap sabke sath rehne ke liye taiyar nahi hu" sarna said immediately after hearing her mother's words....

"Tu bas milne aa ja hame, fir chahe wapas chale jana, mera dard samajh puttar, mai bhi maa hu or maa ho kr apni aulad se dur rehna mere liye kitna mushkil tha ye mai hi janti hu, bas ek baar mujhe or baki sabko milne aa ja or fer chale jana chahe" her mother said requesting her... Sarna thought for a minute and then spoke again..

"Thik hai, pr mai sirf 2 din vaste aaungi te fer wapas chali jaungi" sarna said... Her mother agreed without any further talks... Sarna ended call after asking whereabouts of her other family members....

"Kya boli teri maa?" Aayi asked once sarna ended the call...

"Vo aayi vo mujhe milne ke liye bula rahi thi, maine bola ki mai bas 2 dino ke liye hi aaungi unke pass or fir wapis chali jaungi" she said while fidgeting her fingers...

"Ye to achi baat hai ki teri maa tere gharwale tujhe bula rahe hai, mere ko bata mai sidhant ko bolti hu ki teri ticket karwa de, kab jayegi tu?" Aayi asked her with some excitement...

"Aayi... Aayi mera kahi jane ka mann nahi hai, aap sabke bina mai kahi nhi jana chahti" she said... Aaji thought for a second and then spoke...

"To fir ham sab bhi chalte hai tere sath, isi bahane ham bhi punjab ghum lege, hamesha suna hai punjab ke bare me, ab tere sath punjab dekh bhi lege" aayi said smiling at her... Sarna smiled too thinking about the idea...

"Han ye sahi hai, ham sab sath jayege" she said with excitement....

"Mai bhi jaunga" vishwash said with excitement...
