"It was a big-big world, but we thought we were bigger
Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker."
7 Years - Lukas GrahamTHE NIGHT when Daphne Anoixi had been born was filled with bitter thunder and tears.
Zeus wasn't the biggest fan of her kind, naturally. Any type of being that was a mere remote threat to his power infuriated him, and demigod wizards represented everything opposite to him.
So, when news spread that Persephone was about to give birth to a demigod-wizard, the first one after 200 years, the king of the gods was furious.
He summoned his followers, ancient eidolons and mighty thunderbolts, to follow the Queen of the underworld and kill the child she carried. Zeus should have eradicated that kind after the first mistake committed by the last demigod-wizard.
Unfortunately for him, Persephone wasn't willing to let go of her. She ran away from Olympus and took refuge in the underworld. Despite the child she carried not belonging to Hades, her husband helped protect Persephone against every attempt made by his brother. When it came down to the basis, Persephone was still his wife no matter the infidelity, and he loved her very much.
Little Daphne was born in the underworld on April 5th and almost brought war to the gods. Of course, it wasn't her fault for being born—just a rather unfortunate thing. For the whole week after her birth, humans discovered what a true godly headache felt like—storms and hurricanes spread out across the USA with no plausible explanation.
Until eventual thin peace was found. Zeus was ready to declare war. But, Chiron, the famous hero trainer and director of Camp Half-blood, appeared as a surprising savior. And he was not unsupported.
Albus Dumbledore and Chiron made an offer to the Olympian council as they were about to enter war over the demigod wizards.
It had been a massive gathering consisting of all gods who had somehow been involved with the creation of the wizarding world. Olympus had yet to be so full.
"Death to the child! Death to all demigod wizards!" Ares, god of war, had yelled mid-arguing.
"If blood is to be spilled, it won't be hers." Hades' calmly stated from his obsidian black throne. His wife was behind him, a fearful look in her eyes. She had left Daphne behind in the underworld, under the care of the furies.
"There will be no killing of wizards! I will not allow it!" Hecate announced, making murmurs arise.
"Who are you to allow such a thing?" Eris, the goddess of discord, yelled. "The wizarding world is a collective work! Not just yours. You're not the only one in charge of them."
Hecate huffed. "You all abandon them when you tire of them. Who has stood and loved the wizards all these years, aside from me? "
And she was right. Hecate had been the only one to maintain a sort of relationship with the wizards, often disguising herself and pretending to be one of them.
