Mantasha was bored out of her mind and she wanted to do something. She suddenly got an idea and sprang out of her place. She dashed toward Azlan's room but halted outside seeing him fast asleep. It was his first off day in the weak tomorrow and she knew how busy he was in this weak. This man was workaholic and he even works on weekends, which sometimes annoys her because he doesn't rest enough and that can take a toll at his health. She pouted because she didn't want to disturb him, nor anyone else, especially at this time. But she really wanted to eat an ice cream. This time of month always make her so moody and sometime aggressive too. She craves strange things at the strangest timing.
She disappointedly went down and sat in the living room, with a visible pout on her face. she was getting emotional because no one was there to take her out and she was feeling more and more suffocated by the passing time and she really wanted to have a breath in fresh air. Her eyes turned teary but still the pout didn't vanish away from her face because she knew that she was being childish but still she couldn't stop her cravings.
Her grandfather was coming downstairs, when he saw his princess sitting in the living room, with all the lights off. He sensed that she is sad and he also knew why. He knew that she is at bed rest since the recent incident and she might be tired sitting inside the house all the time. He doesn't know but he expected Azlan to take her out, because tomorrow he had no work but he can understand that he might be tired too, because of on going project.
He went and sat beside his princess but he felt concerned when he saw her teary eyes. He stroked her hairs gently. "Who has the audacity to make my princess cry, huh??" He said and her lower lip wobbled and she shook her head. "What happened princess?? Kisi ny kuch kaha hai??" He softly asked her and she shook her head. "Then why are you crying??" He said and she sniffed. "Promise me t-that you will n-not l-laugh." She hiccupped and he nodded. "I promise beta. Now tell me." he said and she wiped her tears.
"I want to eat ice cream." She said and he looked at her surprised. This was not what he was expecting. "Tou is myn rony ki kya baat hai. Jaao kha lo. Fridge myn pari ho gi." He said and she shook her head again. "No! I want to go out and eat." She said folding her hands on her chest with an adorable pout on her face. He chuckled and softly patted her head. "Where is Azlan? Ask him. He will surely take you." He said and she again shook her head.
"He is asleep and I know he is tired. I don't want to disturb him but I really want to go out and eat ice cream." Mantasha said and he nodded. "Go, get the car keys." He said making her eyes twinkle and she looked at him with hopeful eyes. "You will take me out??" She asked him cutely and he smiled.
"Ofcourse, I will. Lets have grand father and daughter time, once again, like old times." He said and she jumped from her place in excitement. "Really?? Isn't dadi ammi awake??" She asked him and he shook his head, with a mischievous smile on his feature.
"You are best dada abu in the world, you know that??" She said and he laughed, proudly. "Ofcourse, I know that." He said and dramatically winked at her. She immediately went upstairs and took her scarf with her and then grabbed the car keys on her way down.
Soon they both were in a small ice cream parlor, which was his favorite and he wanted to show her. They both had ice cream and enjoyed their time with each other. They both didn't informed anyone, as they thought that everyone was sleeping. That's the reason that Mantasha's guard didn't follow her, as they thought that she will not go out at this time since she might be asleep which was proven to be their biggest mistake.
Mantasha opened her phone to take a snap of her ice cream but she gasped when she noticed the time. It was almost 12 in the mid night. "Dada abu. 12 bjny waly hyn. Aapko nahi lagta k ab hamyn ghar chalna chahiye??" She asked him and he nodded. "Yes you are right. We should go back before your dadi wakes up. Otheewise she will rip my ears off by shouting." He said chuckling nd Mantasha also chuckled when she saw adoration in his eyes. for his wife. She always admired their bond.
