As Azlan returned from work, his gaze swept across the living room, searching for one person in particular—her.

After freshening up, he approached the window with a cup of coffee in hand, his eyes drawn to her figure seated on the swing in the garden. A surge of love washed over him as he watched her, lost in her own thoughts.

With a tender smile, Azlan took a sip of his coffee, savoring the moment as he admired her from afar. Despite the distance between them, he felt a profound connection, an unspoken bond that transcended words.

Reflecting on his confession from the night before, Azlan initially wrestled with self-doubt, questioning the wisdom of revealing his feelings. Yet, as he watched her now, he felt a sense of clarity wash over him.

He knew in his heart that expressing his love was the right thing to do. And as he gazed at her, a surge of determination welled within him. He resolved to seize the moment, to lay bare his feelings and let her know the depth of his affection.

He slowly made his way toward the garden, coffee in hand. The evening air was crisp, and the faint fragrance of blooming flowers filled the atmosphere. Azlan's heart raced with anticipation, the memory of his confession still vivid in his mind. As he approached the garden, he saw Mantasha sitting on the swing, her back slightly hunched, lost in thought. The sight of her, bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun, made his heart swell with affection.

Reaching the garden, he silently stood beside her. Her deep concentration was evident; she was oblivious to his presence. He chuckled softly, finding her behavior endearing. He loved that she was thinking about his confession and about him. The realization that she was contemplating his words filled him with a tender satisfaction.

He decided to gently snap her out of her dazed state by snapping his fingers in front of her. She flinched, looking up at him with wide eyes, clearly startled. Quickly, she stood up and faced him, her expression a mix of surprise and annoyance. "You scared me," she said, her voice a blend of irritation and sweetness that only made him smile wider. He nodded, his chuckle turning into a playful grin. "I know," Azlan replied, his eyes twinkling with amusement. She rolled her eyes at him, but he could see the corners of her mouth twitching, fighting a smile.

"You came back early today," she remarked, trying to compose herself as she sat back down on the swing. He nodded, taking a sip of his coffee, savoring both the warmth of the drink and the moment. "Didn't have much work," he said, his tone casual but his eyes never leaving her face. She nodded, the soft creaking of the swing filling the brief silence. She patted the spot next to her, inviting him to sit. He accepted the silent invitation, sitting close enough to feel the warmth radiating from her.

As they settled on the swing, Mantasha turned slightly towards him, her curiosity evident. "How was your day?" she asked, her concern touching him deeply. Her eyes searched his face, looking for any sign of stress or fatigue. He smiled warmly, appreciating her care. "Great, love," he replied, his voice soft and affectionate. Her eyes widened in surprise, and she quickly snapped her head in his direction, staring at him with a mix of shock and confusion.

"What happened, love?" he asked, teasing her knowingly. His eyes sparkled with amusement as he watched her struggle to process his words. "Why are you calling me that?" she questioned, her voice barely above a whisper. He shrugged nonchalantly, his expression gentle. "Because I wanted to, for so long. And now that I have the chance, why waste it?" he explained, his tone sincere and loving.

Mantasha opened her mouth to respond, but no words came out. Her heart fluttered, and she felt a warmth spread across her cheeks, turning them a soft pink. She turned her eyes away, looking elsewhere to hide her blush. The swing swayed gently beneath them, and the world seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them in a moment that felt both surreal and perfect. Azlan reached out, gently taking her hand in his, and she felt a rush of emotions, knowing that their relationship had just taken a beautiful, irreversible turn.
