Chapter 1

Hey y'all, here's the first chapter! I proof read this at least 10 times, but if y'all find any mistakes let me know. Also let me know if you like how it's third person limited POV or if you'd rather have it first person. In future chapters, I plan for it to be from any of the five main characters' POV not just Taylor or Lizzie's. I hope you enjoy!!!

Begin Again (Taylor's Version) by Taylor Swift

Taylor's hands tightened on the steering wheel as she pulled into the parking lot. The excitement of landing the role of Nova in the new Avengers movie was overshadowed by the lingering uncertainty about her character's love interest. She was only informed it would be a chemistry read, and the suspense was eating at her. Taylor parked her car and made her way inside the building while doing the breathing exercises that her vocal coach taught her as a way to calm her nerves.

As Taylor stepped inside she was met with the wide eyes of a young woman, presumably an intern. She was about 22 years old and had curly blonde hair similar to her own, grey-blue eyes, and a young face.

"Hi, I'm Taylor!" She says, holding out her hand. "I'm here for the table read. Would you be able to point me in the right direction?"

"Uh- yes, yea I can do that," the girl stuttered out while shaking her hand. "You can follow me this way!"

"What's your name?" Taylor inquired as they walked down the hall to her right.

"Oh I'm Ashley," the girl told her, "It's so great to meet you! I'm a really big fan of your music, I would go into a really long ramble about how your my idol but I don't want to take up your time, you can't be late on your first day!" Ashley blurted out blushing as she realized what she admitted.

"Aww buddy, thank you for saying that!" Taylor stopped the girl to give her a hug which Ashley melted into. "Well you're right about not being able to be late, so we'll have to have a chat about everything later. Will you be around set at all?"

"Yes! Actually I was assigned to be your assistant for the duration of shooting, but if you'd rather have someone else that wouldn't be a problem at all! I think anyone would be willing to be your assistant," she laughed a little while looking down at her feet as they resumed their walk.

"I would love to work with you! You're so cute!" Taylor gave Ashley a side hug as they continued to walk through the building. "Now as my assistant, are you able to tell me who my love interest is?" Taylor asked raising her eyebrow smirking.

"I'm not supposed to tell you who it is, but I can tell you it's not someone you would expect," Ashley said while giggling and avoiding eye contact.

That peaked Taylor's interest with a bit of nerves coming back and settling in her stomach. "It's not Tom right?" She whispered.

Ashley stopped walking causing Taylors nerves to increase tenfold. She was not ready to face that music. But then Ashley almost doubled over in laughter.

"No no no it's not him," she said through her laughs. "You really have nothing to worry about. I think I remember hearing in an interview that you've met this person one other time a few years ago."

Taylor only knows four people in the Avengers cast: Tom, Scarlett, Zendaya, and Hailee. She met Scarlett at an SNL after party which led to them becoming good friends and Taylor becoming one of the faces of The Outset, Scarlett's skincare company. She used to be really good friends with Zendaya and Hailee. They kind of grew apart over the years, but there is no bad blood between them. Not to mention all three of them were women. And Tom, well, that was ruled out by Ashley. Thank god.

Ashley must've seen the confused look on Taylors face because she placed her hand on Taylors arm drawing her to a stop in the hallway.

"Really Taylor you have nothing to worry about. If there was something that I think would make you uncomfortable I would tell you. And if you are uncomfortable at any point, which I don't think you will be, let me know and I'll get it taken care of. That's what I'm here for really," said Ashley, suddenly becoming composed once she saw how nervous Taylor actually was.
