Hey y'all so sorry I'm a little late with this chapter. My dumbass can't seem to write grammatically correct sentences, so I had to reread this so much I started going crazy. Anyways, I hope you like it!!

Scarlett's POV

"I've noticed that she's a very touchy person. Not in a bad way at all. It's comforting, really." Lizzie's been here for a bit, and she just can't stop talking about her day which mainly consists of Taylor. I don't think we've talked about anything else, but I really don't mind. I'm just happy that she had a good day because I know these table reads usually stress her out.

"Yeah I know she loves hugs, but I've never really noticed anything more than that."

"I think we held hands for a total of three hours today AND every time we stood next to each other she would put her arm around my shoulders or something."

"Huh," I said smirking.

"What? Is that not normal for her?"

"Um not really no. I mean she's never done anything like that with me, so I'd say it's unusual."

"Oh. Well it really helped keep me calm today. She could tell that I was a little anxious about the second half of the reading and it's like she knew exactly what I needed."

"That's great Lizzie. I'm glad you have another person in your corner, and you know I'm always here for you too, right?"

"I know Scar. I love you, thank you," said Lizzie as she rounded the island to give me a quick hug.

A few minutes later, the doorbell rang signaling Taylor's arrival. Lizzie practically ran to the door. Dork.

"Hey guys! I brought some wine and games as promised," Taylor said while holding up a canvas wine bag with three bottles and a tote bag that I'm assuming the games are in.

"Hey Tay! Come on in." I give her a quick hug and then close the door behind her.

Taylor set the bags on the floor so she could take her shoes off, and then she immediately went to give Lizzie a hug. I don't think they're gonna let go anytime soon, so I clear my throat to get them to separate. Damn I might not even have to scheme.

"Who wants a glass of wine?" I asked. This is the part where I start to put the plan in motion. Gracie, Ashley, and I came up with it at lunch: get them both to drink a glass of wine so they can't drive, offer to pick up dinner to get out of the house, and hopefully the glass of wine will also give them loose lips, so they'll tell eachother all their deepest secrets.

"I'll take a glass."

"Me too"

I nod my head and walk back into the kitchen with the two women following. I fill two wine glasses and hand them to Tay and Lizzie.

"Aren't you gonna have a glass, Scar?"

"I will in a little."

Taylor set her tote bag on one of the kitchen island chairs and starts to pull out the games she brought. "Okay so I brought Most Likely To, Dirty Minds, and Uno."

"What's Dirty Minds?" asked Lizzie.

"Uh I'll explain later. We should probably wait till we're a few glasses in before even considering that game."

I laughed already knowing what some of the cards are. Lizzie is going to get so flustered this is amazing. "Wanna play a few games of Uno while we decide on dinner?" They both agree, so we move over to the living room. We skip the couch and just sit on the floor around the coffee table.
