Hope y'all are doing well! I'm a little homesick, so I decided to write this chapter to distract me. It worked, I was giggling and kicking my feet the entire time, so I hope you love it!

IMPORTANT: I decided to extend the timespan that the past few chapters have happened. It won't affect anything except now the depth of their feelings now makes logical sense lmao. That being said , its been around 6-7 weeks since their chemistry read. Marvel had some rewrites, so table reads got delayed a few weeks after the initial one. (I'll go back and throw that in somewhere at the beginning of the last chapter.)

Lizzie's POV

I can't believe I just had a full blown anxiety attack in front of Taylor. I know I shouldn't be, but I'm embarrassed. She was so kind and gentle about it, though. Helping me to stop hyperventilating and reassuring me throughout. Calling me those names. God those names. If she called me "baby" in a normal setting, I would have swooned.

We're sitting in silence now as she drives us back to her house. It's not awkward, but I can't bring myself to break the silence. I spend the first few minutes of the drive staring out the window trying not to overthink.

"Lizzie."

I look to my left to find Taylor holding her phone to me. I take it with a questioning glance.

"Do you wanna put some music on? Your pick."

"Uh, yeah, sure." My voice is still gravely from earlier.

"It's one three one three one three."

"Huh?"

"The password you goof." She quickly glances my way giggling before looking back at the road ahead.

"Oh," is the only thing I say back. She trusts me with that? No one has ever given me the password to their phone. Robbie never even let me hold his phone let alone give me free access to it. He claimed I wouldn't even want it if I trusted him. I never pushed about it. It turns out I probably should have. I could've saved myself a year of wasted time. He was texting his 'girlfriend' on that phone.

I shove those thoughts aside and unlock her phone quietly laughing at the password. "Thirteen thirteen thirteen. Really?" I ask incredulously. "That's the first thing anyone would've guessed!"

Taylor looked at me mouth agape. "I thought it was too obvious that no one would even bother to try it."

I just laugh harder while I pull up Spotify and play one of my favorite songs, Emmylou. After placing Taylor's phone in one of the cupholders, I go back to looking out the window.

Taylor takes my hand once the first chorus starts and she sings. She sings to me.

"I'll be your Emmylou and I'll be your June

If you'll be my Gram and my Johnny too

No, I'm not asking much of you

Just sing little darling, sing with me"

She squeezes my hand urging me to sing along. I oblige her– quietly.

Taylor's POV

This woman does something to me. I can't fully describe how she makes me feel. There's a longing that sits deep in my chest as she sings so sweetly. It almost brings me to tears. I'm dramatic, I know.
