hey everyone! before i say anything about the future of this story, i just wanted to say thank you. i believe i started writing this story in 2020 or 2021, and everyone has been nothing but supportive (AND HILARIOUS) ever since. thank you so much for reading my story and always coming back.
unfortunately, i'm not sure if i will be able to update this story again - and i wont even lie and say i'm trying because i'm not. i've completely lost love (and quite honestly forgot the whole plot line) for ST and writing x reader stories. it just seems corny and unrealistic in my opinion. i tried to make y/n seem relatable but she seems more attention hungry and pick me.
if i were to finish this story i would have to completely re-do all three books, since i'm not happy with my writing in this story whatsoever.
but, i haven't completely given up writing. i've written a couple different stories recently ; better off which is a oc x max mayfield fic, broken clocks which is a oc x jj maybank fic, and i have quite a few marvel fics in the works! i promise these are MUCH better written than roots (especially broken clocks, better off gets better towards the end).
once again, thank you for all your love and support. who knows, i might find inspiration again?
