"Why?" Beast Boy asked Robin when entering upon the common room.
"Its obvious you two got it for each other." Robin laughed. He always knew the obvious, he'd know it before the actual person did. Robins always so classy, and you stay classy, you classy, son of a gun.
"Pfft, whatever." Beast Boy laughed. He wouldn't believe it if Raven told him herself. He's not easy to get over with at all, Beast Boy's a see it and believe it kind of guy.
"I mean, y'all almost kissed, how can you explain that Beast Boy?" Robin explained.
"We were just in our emotions, it's not like we meant it or anything. Just something pity, I don't think she really wanted to kiss me, ya know?" Beast Boy looked out the window. He felt like he took advantage of her.
"No, I don't know. What I do know is that she meant what she did, she meant everything. So did you, but you fail to realize it, or maybe you just deny it." Robin dismissed himself. He was disappointed in his team mate, he expected progress out of him, but what do you expect on the first try?
"Raven?" Robin punched in her code to find her not in her room. He looked, and looked, but she was nowhere.
"Wow, you really need to stop barging in whenever, I could be getting dressed, for all you know." Raven smirked. Robin jumped when he turned to find her crossing her arms. She felt guilt radiate off him, as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Heh, sorry, i just wanted to see how you're doing, knowing its the first day and all-"
"Wait, i thought this was a one time thing, you're thinking I'm doing this everyday?" Raven asked with a face of concern.
"Well, not exactly, i was thinking you could do this whenever its needed." Robin dropped a bead of sweat. He didn't want any tension between them right after he tried to help her.
"So, you mean everyday?" Raven shot back. She knew she needed to suppress emotions everyday, so she knew this would be a daily thing. She knew it would be hard, but she wouldn't regret each day, simply because it would make her feel better. Though the thing that would be killing her is that she would spend these days with Beast Boy. Azar knows what would happen next, them killing each other, or worse, them possibly starting a relationship.
Well, then its official, everyday to be exact." Robin smiled lending out a hand to shake in agreement. She was hesitant at first, but she sighed and shook his hand firmly. He felt a great bond between the two ever since he helped her through the Trigon terror. He was glad to have help her through such a horrible state, he actually felt special. He knew he had a special place in her heart somewhere.
"I could agree too." Beast Boy's woeful voice etched through the thick of her room.
"You can come in, Beast Boy." Raven informed. She magically opened her door to find a sappy Beast Boy once again.
"I know I was being a jerk, and therefore, I apologize. However, excluding me from an important discussion isn't your cup of tea."
"Apologies."
"Well, we can't make it official without your consent. So, whaddya say?" Robin offered his hand. Beast Boy took in no hesitation to shake his hand.
"Welcome to the Emotional Training Squad, Beast Boy." Raven smiled. She was literally joking, until Beast Boy's face lit up with excitement and idea. She wasn't intentionally trying to be serious, but I'm guessing that's where its going with him.
"Wow! That's a great idea, we should literally call ourselves that!"
"You're genius Raven!" Beast Boy grasped her in a tight bear hug.
"Heh,sorry, I just-"
"Kind of out of control?
"I know, I go through that same situation everyday." Raven smirked trying to loosen the tension between them.
"Its alright, it's just you need to tame it sometimes." Raven explained to the now calm Beast Boy.
"Yeah, if I only knew." Beast Boy chuckled while rubbing the back of his neck nervously. He didn't know why, but every time he was around Raven, he would always get nervous. He was scared to admit it, but he thinks he may have feelings for Raven, but he couldn't make out why, of all people in the world. He was very opposite of her, he was sure enough by now that she hated him, so, why all the sudden would she suddenly like him.
"That is why I'm taking you through this emotional training." Robin intervened.
"You're not always supposed to build up your emotions inside, and expect them to just fade away. Sometimes you just have to let them out." Robin informed. He knew now, that they needed more than just one session.
"So emotional trainees, are you ready to train your emotions?" Robin's enthusiasm radiating from his aura.
"Whatever." Raven agreed calmly.
"Awesome!" Beast Boy shouted with one fist In the air.
"Uh, I mean, yeah totally."
"Great, until next time."
"Beast Boy?" He asked gesturing for him to exit.
"I'd like to stay for a little more." Beast Boy smiled and looked at Raven.
"Raven?" Robin seemed recognition.
Raven looked Beast Boy up and down to see if he meant business. As she was looking, she noticed how mature he looks. His jaw line was perfectly shaped, he now had a lean body , probably from all the tofu he eats, and he seemed to be towering over her by three inches. His face was no baby, oh no, his face had grown mature, not to mention absolutely handsome.
"Uh, Raven?" Beast Boy chuckled. It seemed as if he was blushing and getting nervous. Of Course he'd be nervous, the most beautiful woman in the world is staring at him.
"Yeah." Raven turned to look at Robin in approval.
And with that, he left. Leaving the two in a cold silence.
"Just so you know, creepy is way beyond what I think of you." Beast Boy apologized.
"Okay." muttered the awkward Raven.
"So, friends?" Beast Boy asked handing out his hand for reassurance. He only wanted to make sure he was good with the empath before he could do what he normally would do with a friend. Annoy them with such corny jokes. It was his specialty after all.
Instead of his hand being shaken, his abdomen was filled with a tinder warmth. It was Raven, embracing him in a sincere hug.
"You've always been my friend nitwit." Raven mumbled under his chest. Out of all the people in the world, she was hugging Beast Boy. And yet there she is, embracing him, enjoying his warmth and comfort.
"Glad." He muttered in her hair. Savoring it with its brilliance.
They seemed to be there for quite a few minutes. Rocking back and forth, and smothering each other seemed to be comfortable to them. Within a few minutes, Raven started to fall asleep in his embrace. Her grip loosened around his torso, and he felt her fall in his arms. He chuckled slightly to himself, and picked her up bridal style, and placed her in her bed covers.
"Night Rae." Beast Boy kissed her chakra, and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. He took In her beauty, and watched her peaceful form. Her head tilted to the side, and the hand he used to push her hair back from her face, was cupping her cheek. Her cheek was warm, and just underneath it she was smiling. As much as he wanted to stay, he had to leave, or Robin would suspect something strange. He took one last glance at her face, and departed.
