Chapter 10

Changelings P.O.V

"I can't." I heard her say, and I instantly frowned. I actually thought that kiss meant something, but now, I see how it is.

As we parted we heard a gasp, followed by a squeal. We turn to see the remaining Titans staring at us. We both separate and blush a deep shade of red.

"Get. You. Some!" Cyborg gave me our signature handshake, and gave me a noogie.

"Hey hey! Watch the hair!" I struggled out of his grasp.

I heard Starfire squeal of excitement, and squeeze Raven in a bone crushing hug. I even contorted my face, because I heard a few of her backbone pop.

"Congratulations you two." Robin congratulated us, as he gave me a fist bump, and Raven a brotherly hug. "I knew you two were going to get together sooner or later." Robin admitted, crossing his arms.

"Listen grass stain, if you ever hurt her ill-"

"Chill, why would I ever want to hurt her?" I said as I put my arm around her shoulders and kissing her on the cheek. I had to act it out, or else they would suspect my broken heart.

"Come on Rae, what's up? Cat got ya tongue?" Cyborg asked, crossing his arms.

"I'm fine. I just need a shower." She said leaving the common room. I noticed her uncomfort, as she looked at me before exiting into the hallway. Im going to take that as a sign to go and talk to her.

But first...

I need a shower!

Ravens P.O.V

After the showers.

I was most uncomfortable knowing that my dearest friends found out about me and Changeling kissing. I could not be in a decent relationship with him right now.

Im just now getting a new feel on these emotions, and I'd like to take time with them. I can't just rush into anything, that wouldn't be right. Though, I have to tell Changeling because

He's worth it to know why I broke his beautiful heart.

Changelings P.O.V

I head down the corridor, and passed by Ravens door. I lean my head against it to listen, but the door opened.

'Great.' I thought to myself. I was headed for a disaster. I hesitated, but I stepped right in. I look at her with my sappy eyes as I walk to a beanie chair.

"Why?" I asked on the verge of tears.

"Because." She hesitated. "I can feel emotions without destroying-"

"If you can feel emotions without destroying then why can't you love me like I love you?!?" I asked raising my voice. Her excuse was nonchalant and did not make any sense.

"Lower your voice, I wasn't finished." She said in a trembling voice. If you looked closely you could see a tear forming in her left eye.

Meaning deep sorrow

"I want to give us a chance, I really do. But-" she sniffled. "Im new to this emotional freedoms, and all I ask of you is to be patient." She looked up at me with tear stained cheeks.

I wiped away her tears with my thumb, and looked at her beautiful face before I departed. Atlast I said "Take as much time as you need."

And departed to the roof...

Robins P.O.V

I knew that they would get together. Especially after what happened yesterday in the field. You'd be blind, if you can't see how much these two love each other. Its pretty obvious.

I just wish it was obvious and easy for Star and I...

As I'm walking down the corridor, I can't help but think if they really need anymore training sessions. It only took them two training sessions for them to confess, so im sure there is nothing else they need help with. All they need to do is be communicative, and respectful to one another, and they'll be happy.

However, if that doesn't work out....

They know who to call.
