(Warning do not read if you can't handle asphyxiation,  death, emetophobia/fear of vomit, or aliens inhabiting human corpses)

I was on a ship in the vast black void of outer space. My job was in the communication sector. I was to deliver and receive messages from our main control back on earth, however, I learned someone was sneaking messages to someone else. Being it's my job on the line I was the one in trouble. To make this easier to explain, I was put in the Brigg for "being in communication with something extraterrestrial" or deemed I was. The captain of the ship decreed that it was wrong and by their decree, I was to be interrogated by any means necessary.
I was strapped to a chair-like gurney forced to lay down and take the injections that caused me to stop breathing, the tightness in my chest the racing thoughts swirling in my head almost like an alarm went off inside me and my need for life became surreal. I witnessed my own body convulse and beg for the sweet embrace of air in my lungs to find nothing.  It was agony, watching this movie-like horror scene. Where my body shook and went into shock as I gasped for air and struggled to breathe. The captain continued until I blacked out and puked up greenish-yellow vomit, the taste left my mouth yearning for water to wash it away. He wanted to know how I came into contact with the beings in the sky. How I knew about them and where they came from. He said the injections would stop if I told the truth..but when I claimed I did not know or anything that showed "defiance", he didn't like those answers. After a while, you see, the one questioned for answers is a scapegoat. She finds out the same things the pilot knew the one who was sending distress signals...all pilots under the commander's regime were spliced..dead yet their power nect was still intake meaning someone had been putting alien
Intelligent lifeforms inside human corpses. when the pilot talked to one of the spliced. He found out the truth of how their crew went without food or sleep for weeks. How the commander cruel as he may be is still in charge of the fleet. The spliced showed their true form..their corpse full of shiny diamond-like holes almost pixilated if that makes any sense.
He admitted that the commander's good doctor would torture them to understand their alien form and then transfer them into fresh human corpses for labor work and to "keep the crew alive". The moment the second in command is given this information and all the proof he needs to save the communication manager who's being wrongfully tortured and deemed a traitor. he races to the communication sector there a prick felt in his neck and  his vision blurs...and the last thing he sees is a syringe as he falls to the floor "Welcome to the Andromeda fleet."

I wake.
