(Trigger warning don't read if you can't handle substance abuse, drowning, and desecration of a corpse)
I'm in an aged but tasteful building, it smells like sandalwood and fresh dew. In this house, there's a man who's dressed semi-formal, but comfortably. He's watching me leaning on a cane that is feathery and decorated with the head of a white crow. I feel drawn to him, so I walk closer to him and he hands me a little bottle with a teardrop duct. Almost like an old perfume bottle.
The man only says "Find the keys and only take one drop as necessary for each room." Confused, I went through the room that called out to me. I searched around each room but no key was to be found. I decided to be curious and looked at the tear-dropped duct. "Use only one drop for each room..hmm." I opened the bottle and took a whiff curious it smelled..foul. I soon didn't care to know what was in the bottle and chose to close it back up. Confused I tried to go back to the man but the door wouldn't open. I was stuck so I decided to inspect the bottle and low and behold there's a label "Eye." Taking a chance I place a drop of the foul liquid into my right eye. It burned and then everything changed the room I was in..was empty the key hanging on a hook in the wall..I take the key questioning reality and then getting the idea to open the door by placing the key inside the lock, the door opened. and for once I didn't feel my crippling anxieties or over-complicated thoughts. I was confident I wasn't afraid. The place was strangely familiar. I placed another drop as I found myself in a new area, all of a sudden the room changed and altered itself in my presence. The brick wall was no longer bricked up but a woman's bones laid neat with a greenish glow to her, her wooden coffin in the wall..by her feet was a key hidden inside the coffin embedded into the floorboards on the tomb. I carved it out with a sharp piece of metal I broke off accidentally but it worked. I got the second key, It was the right key for the door. I exit the room into a purple-lighted hall filled with fog and notice the only source of light is a lamp hanging in front of the..wall. I could have sworn that was the entrance to the coffin lady's room..but it's no longer there...I grab the lamp quickly not wanting to be in this dark and dreary hall anymore. After I wander for what seems like an eternity, I see something staring standing guard..a goblin..perhaps. he snarls with pointy ears and looks yellowish-green eyes however his skin is chocolate brown. Sadly, it noticed the light getting closer and charged at me snuffing my light out..it grabbed my hand took me to a water-filled room, and closed the door behind me..but I still wasn't scared this was familiar, have I been here before? "Find the right amount of water for each bucket and you'll find your way out or drown." I heard a small voice say. After what felt like hours of finding the right combination of filling water buckets and the water filling up to my waist my nerves became frantic. I finally freed myself opening the door I was swept by the water to the floor. The man from the beginning appeared on the other side, watching. He sighed and and moved his cane letting the light shine off the sapphire jewels in the crow's eye sockets placed on the top of his cane, so familiar. "Well have to work on your timing."...I wake.
