This is a part of their past, the story is still the same.

And one important thing don't judge my book by reading just a few chapters there will be an unexpected turn through half of the book so stay tuned till then.😉

(This is a close door romance story and wouldn't have smut in it. But please give it a try.)

🎶Tere khayalon mein
Beete ye raatein
Dil mera maange ek hi dua

Tu samne ho aur
Karoon main baatein
Lamha rahe yun thehra hua

Pehle to kabhi yun
Mujhko na aisa kuch hua
Deewani lahron ko jaise saahil mila...🎶

A A R O H I

I was sitting in the cafeteria of my college looking at the new people and munching on my sandwiches. Today is my first day in this college. I am excited, nervous and happy, all at the same time. Happy because this is my dream college. Excited to meet new people and nervous thinking what if I wouldn't make any friends here.

I don't care if people like me or not but spending 3 years without any friends that too in an unknown country seems like a difficult task. Did I mention I am in New York currently?

I have already spent half a day in this college but no one seems interested in talking.

I was looking around when my gaze fell on something or particularly someone. A handsome boy was sitting at a table in the corner of the room, he looked like he was waiting for someone, girlfriend maybe?

My prediction went wrong when I saw another boy of his age reaching him. He too is handsome. God his jaw line, I can die to get a jaw line like his. They both sat there talking about something and eating aloo ke parathe?

Where did they even get those? I checked the whole menu but didn't find them! Forget it, I will talk to the chef at the end of the day.

From their looks they both are Indian. Time to make some friends I guess. Should I approach them now? What if they rejected my friendship? Ugh.

I was lost in my thoughts when the second boy wearing a white shirt picked a can and took a sip of his drink. Goodness, I think I just developed a new crush. This feels like one of my books.

A sigh escaped my lips. The whole time my gaze was on those boys that I didn't realise they both were finished with their food.

I came back to my senses when they both left the cafeteria. Wait, is it already time for the next lecture? I looked at the time and realised that indeed it was. I spent 30 minutes just looking at them.

The next day I sat here again waiting for the two boys, today I am determined I am going to initiate a conversation with them. I waited for 15 minutes after which they entered. They didn't take the same table today, instead they took the one closest to the window, which happened to be close to where I sat.

I took a deep breath before picking my bag and made my way towards them. I reached their table and said hello. They both looked at me but only one of them replied back, the other one made himself busy with his phone. How rude!
