7. The Good-Looking Actor's Moody Wife (Part 2)

Chun Lele gritted his teeth, frowning, his eyebrows furrowed so deep as he glared at the TV screen.

The advertisement had quickly ended, the trailer of the drama his husband had acted on slowly appearing, along with a burst of yellow sparkle effects and golden mist which comes before it. The scene immediately began at the moment Pei Du tightly hugged a random female Omega on the screen- showing his husband's look of deep and longing “love”, then suddenly, it hopped to a scene where Pei Du- out of nowhere, shared a hungry kiss with that same Omega.

The drama had a total of 30 episodes with a span of 23 minutes. It was about to reach its conclusion, and there were only 4 episodes left before the drama ended. The female lead and the first male lead finally got together, and the scene of them sharing an intimate moment was the previous scene streamed from last week's episode.

Chun Lele never watched his husband's dramas. He could never when his husband only acted on dramas of intense romancing with another omega, and sometimes it became more explicit than Chun Lele could ever bear. Hence as soon as he saw his husband's kissing scene, Chun Lele was so terrified he immediately threw the cushion of the sofa towards the far TV, and instantly shut it close with the remote control, huffing and huffing.

He leaned on the back of the sofa, clutching his chest, trying not to recall that filthy scene which very much caused his heart to flame, and his stomach to churn- immediately having the urge to throw up, at the thought of his husband actually having to share such an intimate kiss with an unknown Omega he never bothered to know the name of.

Suddenly, he felt his abdomen aching, then hardening.

Chun Lele jolted, then winced in pain. Looking down, he instantly saw a small mound- just in time, disappearing, then appearing again on his huge belly.

He's currently 8 months pregnant. Belly too large for him to make big movements. His little daughter moved for the second time this afternoon. Probably because she felt his mother's emotions, hence she stirred- as though sympathizing with his rage.

Chun Lele sniffed, lifting his legs and half-hugging his huge belly. He whispered to his unborn daughter, "Oh, Ah-Li. Are you angry too?" Xuanli, a name the couple already decided for their baby, "You're angry for Mama, even if you didn't see that scene? Though I would never let you watch your father's dramas, you can just ignore your jealous Mama here. Although Mama wants him to quit acting in this type of drama, what can Mama do? Apparently it's your Dad's passion to hold hands with another Omega and make out with them lots!"

Chun Lele laughed, though with a hint of bitterness, but he could never express such thoughts with his husband. True, his husband always loved acting. He seemed to shine whenever he stood in front of the camera, expressively narrating his lines he had perfectly memorized. He would look smitten, very much in love with some Omega in front of him. He wouldn't hesitate to fondle his hands on their cheeks, lean in, eyes fervent with emotion; but then after the lights turn off, his eyes had returned to normal- like nothing happened, only smiling cordially to that Omega. Being Pei Du's makeup artist for 3 years, Chun Lele had long been able to tell, that he's always taken his job seriously.

Just as much as how he loved cosmetics himself, and the action of applying them to clients. If ever Pei Du confiscated his cosmetic collections- throw them away, burn them, whatever, Chun Lele would definitely ignore him for months. He has his own passion, Pei Du does too, no one would ever want their passion to be taken away from themselves.

Still, Chun Lele could only grit his teeth to himself. He could only throw sour eyes at a random Omega on TV, who's given such sweet treatment by his husband, more than he- as his true Mate, had ever received these days given that Pei Du is always so busy. Pei Du is already a professional actor, having debuted in the entertainment industry as an actor back when he was still 8 years old. He knew what to do, Chun Lele believed. But Chun Lele still could never stop his heart from burning- aching, and Chun Lele thinks he's been very good at hiding it.
