When i got home i was getting ready for the party i put on a black dress with black heals and a black with gold bag. I arrive at the party. "Hey Lan." I say. He pushes his glasses a little forward. "You look pretty Y/n." He says. After a short conversation he goes full DJ-mode. That's why i decided to get a drink. "Hi could you please make me something sweet but without alcohol?" I ask the bartender. "Sure. You new here? Never seen you before." The bartender aks. "Yeah still trying to fit in." I say. "Would you even be old enough to drink?" He asks. "I am but decided not to." I say to him. "Means you're old enough for me to tell you that you are very pretty." He says to me. His word made me feel uncomfortable. "Thanks." I say trying to stay polite. "You shouldn't be all alone dressed like that." He says. "What do you mean?" I ask. "That this outfit deserves attention." He says while scanning my body with his eyes. He hands me my drink and i can taste the alcohol in it. "I told you that I don't want alcohol. I think you made a mistake." I say to him. At least i hope it was a mistake. "Certainly not. You look great. You should drink and have some fun." He says to me. He grins and puts a strain of my hair behind my ear wich makes me wanna throw up. All of sudden Charles appears looking at me. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Nothing we were just talking." The bartender said to him. "I wasn't talking to you." He says to him. He looks at me again his eyes filled with something that looks a bit concerned. "Are you alright?" Charles asks me. I notice his hand around my wrist and free me from his grip. "None of your business. We're rivals remember? You pushed me off the track so i have no intention to talk to you." I say and turn around to go to Lando.
Charles' pov:
She's so stubborn it's unbelievable. I turn around to the bartender. "She didn't seem comfortable around you. Wanna tell me why?" I ask the bartender. "I have no idea. I've worked at thousands of these parties women can be dramatic when they drink." He replied. I take a sip of her drink. "Y/n is not the kind of person who drinks the night before qualifying. But i'm the kind of person who fired a bartender who's unable to respect the wishes of his guests and make a women uncomfortable." I say to him.
