DEARRIVAL

First day

I enter the paddock when i see Daniel. "Hey sis exited for your first interview?" I look at him a little nervous. "Exited and nervous i have to make a good impression. I'm the only female driver on the current grid. I wanna prove that women can drive as well as men." I said while playing with my hair out of exitement. Max and Lando walk towards us. "They are waiting for you y/n." Said Max. I look nervous at Lando. He gives me a comforting look. "You've got this." He says. A little stressed i walk to the interviewer there goes a little weight off my shoulder when i see it's a girl but still im nervous. We hug eachother in greeting. "Hi how are you?" She asks. "Good im looking forward to my first race." I answer with a smile trying to hide my nervousness. We talk a while about being a female Formula 1 driver. "You spend a lot of time with you team lately but there is no picture of you and Charles. How come?" In my mind. The truth is that Charles didn't want to but i can't say that beacause we have to look like a invincible team. "We have met actually but we didn't take a picture. We mostly talked about the season because we want Ferrarie back on the top." I said. After the interview i go to the Ferrarie hospitality. My face lighted up when i saw Sebastian. "Hey kid what are you up to?" He asked. I smile because being on track with the man who thaught me how to drive feels like home. "In the long term i want the World Championship title. But right now im looking for my team." I said. "You will do well in Formula 1. You have a lot of potential little one." I bite my lip without noticing. "I hope you're right Seb. This is my dream. Danny hates me a little bit for joinning Ferrarie but i feel like this was the best decision." I look down. "Look at you. Young excited and full of hope. You might be what Ferrarie needs." He says.

Charles' pov:
She is not what Ferrarie needs i just need to become better by working harder. I'll do everything to be the world champion and there can only be one. I will not lose against a rookie.

Y/n pov:
As i talk to Seb Charles walks past us not even looking at us. "Give him some time he's really desperate to win this season and thinks everything and everyone is a distraction." Seb says. "But were on the same team he can't just pull of a solo act." I said a little frustrated. "You are teammates but when it comes to the championship you are rivals." I look at him. "Your right. I have to win. I can't allow myself to fail. Even if that means to beat my own teammate." I said and walk off to Red Bull. "You ready to go Daniel?" I ask. "Yeah im comming." We went home eat some dinner and i went straight to bed.
