Daniel knows

Next morning i wake up by someone whose been constantly knocking on my door i out some clothes on. I open the door turns out it is my brother. The second i open my door he storms in. "Tell me it is not true. Tell me the whole world is lying and your not because you're my sister and you would never ." Daniel said. "Could you please stop yelling at me. What are you talking about?" I asked. I close the dior and follow him into the living room. "Tell me you did not spend time with Charles!" He said. "We're teammates. Just because we have summer break doesn't mean we don't have to look like teammates." I said. "That's it? So you haven't been holding hands? Teammates don't do this." Daniel said. "I get that you don't like him but i can spend time with him whenever i want. I'm a adult incase you haven't noticed." I said. "Charles isn't good for you he is only interested in winning nothing more." Daniel said. "That's not true. Charles is a lovely brother he's good with children and he cares about so much than just racing." I said. "No he doesn't. I heard him saying he will win no matter what." Daniel said. "That must've been before." I said. Before we started dating. Before he showed me who Charles Leclerc was beside F1. Before i fell for his words, his character, that smile and those eyes. "That was right after your accident. He told Fred he accepts you as his teammate but in the end you're rivals fighting for title only one of you can have." Daniel said. "Yeah i know that. Doesn't mean he's a bad guy." I said. Daniel sighs. "You wanna know why he was talking to Fred? Before he said that he accepts you as his teammate he asked Fred if you could leave the team." Daniel said. "This can't be true. It isn't. Why are you doing this to me?" I asked. "You really ask me that? I'm your brother. I always want the best for you. I always protected you." He said. He puts his hand on my shoulder. "Who do you trust more? Your brother or your rival?" Daniel asked. Daniel can't have a bad intention he loves me. But i can't believe that Charles asked Fred to kick me out of the team. "I need to talk to him. I trust you but i wanna give him a chance to explain." I said. "Okay but after dinner. Our parents are waiting." Daniel said. My dad hugs me. "How have you been? I wanted to visit you after your accident but i didn't know if you wanted to see me." He said. "Yeah ofcourse. I'm the one who refuses contact." I said. I tried my whole life to at least have one conversation with him about how i feel but he doesn't talk about feelings. "Let's sit down. I'm starving." Daniel said. Mother kisses me and Daniel on the cheek before we sit down. "I saw the pictures. You can just do what your told to can you?" My dad said. "Apparently not." I answerd. "Isn't it enough that he asked Fred to let you leave the team?" My dad asked. "How do you know that?" I asked. Daniel would never tell dad something like that. But dad would tell him. "You told Daniel that didn't you? Is it even true?" I asked a little frustrated. "Ofcourse it is. Why would dad lie?" Daniel asked. "Because he's a asshole who doesn't treat his daughter how she deserves to be treaten." Charles suddenly said. "What are you doing here?" I asked Charles. "Interrupting our dinner obviously." My dad said. "You're spreading lies about me and i won't let you or your lies become between me and Y/n." Charles said. My dad chuckels. "Be careful with your accusations." My dad said. Daniel looks at me. "What do you think? Dad lied?" He asked me. "I'm sorry Daniel. Our father is a liar. I don't believe that Charles asked Fred to kick me out." I said. "Life is not easy. All i wanted was to prepare you." My dad said. "With lies? And what about the readon for the accident? Was this also your fault?" Daniel asked my dad. Daniel gets angry. "He was. I would never risk her health or her dreams." Charles said. "You're being dramatic. I thought she was lying to talk to you." My dad said. "All the time Charles wasn't the bad influence it was you. You risked her life. I'm sorry Y/n and Charles." Daniel said. "You only wanted the best for me so i forgive you." I said to Daniel. "I forgive you too. Let's go." Charles said to me. He looks at my mom. "It was nice to meet you." Charles said. "Stay. You're not allowed to go." My dad said. "Oh yes we will. She's my sister and it's my job to protect her from you." Daniel said. "Thanks Danny. I'm sorry for telling you the truth earlier I didn't want to break you heart." I said. "I told you to stay!" My dad yelled. He grabs my arm painfully. The next moment Charles punches my dad and pulls me away from him gently stroking my arm to make the pain go away. "Never touch my wife again. Next time it won't be one punch." Charles said.
