The last race of the season

"Wow. You are breathtaking. Seriously. I just think i forgot how to breath." Charles said. "Thanks. You look handsome yourself Lord Perceval." I said. I was wearing a red dress. "Don't get me wrong i love the outfit but do you really think it's the best choice. It will drive the media crazy. It drives me crazy. How could i concentrate on the last race of the year when i have you on my mind?" Charles said. "I guess that means i will win." I said. The last races were amazing. I had no problems at all but Chalres had two bad pitstops wich costs him a lot. Who wins the last race will be world champion. "I'm so nervous but at the same time i love the pressure." I said. "You are great. You'll make Fromula 1 history my dearest rival." Charles said. He kisses me. "I also believe in you kid." Sebastian said. Seb hugs me with the biggest smile on his lips. "So do i." Daniel said. Daniel always supported me and after he figured out the truth about our fatherwe became a even better team. "You are really impressing for a rookie but i won't give you a chance. I could still win." Max said. "Only if you win and i'm not on the podium. Next year i'll give you a chance." I said. "That's my girl." Charles said. He kisses me proudly until Fred tells us to change. It's time for our last interview this year before our last race. During the race i'm more nervous than ever. It's hard to overtake Max and even harder to do it again after my pitstop. I'm grateful Lewis and Lando are concentrated on eachother because that means i can concentrate on Charles who's infront of me. I'm surrounded by people clapping and cheering. Antoher win for Ferrarie. But this time..... i won. I won the race. For the first time ever. I don't know how i did it because the only thing on my mind is the race result. My victory. My heart races faster than my car did. I'm so fucking happy. The best moment was when i heard in the radio: "Y/n Ricciardo. You are the World Champion!" I get out of my car and rush to my friends. "I did it. I did it. It's unbelievable." I said. Lando and Max hug me. "You did a great job. But how did you managed to overtake Charles in the last turn?" Max asked. "I honestly don't know. Charles was infront of me until something changed. Somehow i was faster." Charles joins us and pulls me into a magical kiss. "I'm so proud of you." Charles said. "How was it possible that i was so much faster than you?" I asked. "I may have activated the brake by mistake. It could also be that it took me longer than necessary to get out of the pit lane the last few races." Charles said. "Don't tell me you did that for me." I said. "No i did it for me. I'm selfish. I'm so selfish that i lost for you so that you'll do the honor to marry me." Charles said. He gets on one knee. "Y/n Ricciardo my dearest rival i beg you to marry me because you are the best thing that ever happened to me. You are the one person i will always choose over the world championship because you mean the most to me. You make me happy. You give me love and hope and i will do everything i can to make you happy today. Tomorrow. The next years. Until we are old and watch our grandchildren race. Will you make me the happiest soul in the whole world and marry me?" Charles asked. "Yes Charles. I will." I said. I jump into his arms wrapping my legs around him so i know this moment is real. It feels like all my dreams come true at the same time. This kiss is the beginning of the best years of my life. This kiss is the beginning of a new chapter with Charles and me as the main characters. We are an unbreakable couple.

Today:
I'm so happy. Charles will be the perfect husband. He supports me even if i'm better than him. Daniel is so happy that Charles loves me as much as i deserve it and even my dad behaved and congratulated me today he even apologized. Charles and i are not perfect but we are perfect for eachother. Both stubborn we both love Formula 1and we will never stop smiling at the other one. He makes me happy every day and i do the same for him for the rest of our life. From now on it's him and me. Forever. Because he is my dear rival and now my loving husband.
