"I'm not going to ask why you look happier than a dog, neither do I want you anywhere near me until you've showered and scrubbed every inch of your body. You smell like sex." Dana waved at the air in front of her.
Gena lips stretched so wide, her cheeks hurt. "Do I look disheveled?"
"That's what you're worried about?" Dana held her nose, rolling her eyes. "You do not look disheveled, can we go home now? Never mind I'll catch a cab, I don't think I'll survive this stench." Dana grabbed her bag and phone, skirting past Gena.
She opened the door at the exact time Novel opened hers, their eyes met and Novel's cheeks and chest immediately flared up, a rosy red dusted them, rising steadily to her top of her head.
"For the love of God." Dana muttered under her breath. "Who knew seeing you so in love and all those mushy stuff would be disgusting."
Gena ignored her statement, focusing on Novel who was also staring at her with her big beautiful eyes. She caught sight of a bruise forming on the side of her neck, heat flared within her-
"Oh no." Dana waved her hands in front of Gena's face, breaking their daze. "I change my mind, we're going home together or the both of you are going to go at it like rabbits."
Novel's face got redder, Gena feared she'd combust on the spot. "Maybe I should go."
"Don't mind my teasing Novel, you're part of the family now and you look disheveled." Dana smirked, "Seems my buddy here put her hands in too many places."
Novel sputtered, Gena rushed to save her. "That's enough Dana. She's just teasing you mercilessly, I'll see you tomorrow?" She said to Novel
Novel refrained from weaving her hands through her hair, "Uh- yea sure." She nodded at Dana, avoiding direct eye contact as she rushed down the stairs and out of sight.
"You scared her away." Gena fell into her chair, closing her eyes. Tiredness was slowly creeping in.
"Get your ass up, I don't want to have to touch you if you fall asleep on that chair." Dana hit her gently with her purse, "It's late, try to keep those eyes open until we're home."
Gena peeked at the clock, internally spewing her discontent. "Alright." She dragged herself up, stared longingly at the chair for a second and sighed. "Let's go"

"Fari! You don't want to know what Gena did today." Dana dropped dramatically onto Faridah's lap.
"She didn't ask." Gena rolled her neck, the stiffness was making her uncomfortable.
"Since you've interrupted my reading." Faridah took off her reading glasses, closed the book in her hands and fixed all her attention on Dana. "Do tell."
And she did. Going on and on about the sexual sounds she was forced to listen to, the exaggerated desk hitting wall references. "The car reeks of sex, I'd advise you not to hop into that tainted vehicle."
"If you're so fascinated over my sex life, maybe you should be having more sex." Gena commented, rolling her sleeves over her forearms.
"You were having sex in your place of work." Faridah retorted, "Ever heard of don't eat where you shit."
Gene rolled her eyes so hard, she regretted it instantly from the pain that followed. "Novel is different, I can't explain it but I know and that blabber mouth there also knows she's unlike anything I've ever seen before."
"Yea." Dana nodded, head tilted in thought. "I've never seen anyone get so red."
Faridah laughed at Gena's expense, adjusting Dana on her lap. "You've added a few pounds darling, I can't feel my legs."
